Building Cheap Decks - Destroyer

I decided to do an example of an excellent Dark/Fire weenie rush deck. The purpose of this article is to prove that you don't have to spend a ton of money to build an excellent deck.

A weenie rush, for those of you who are unfamiliar with this term, is having a deck of mostly low-cost monsters. You then summon multiple low-cost monsters and attack your opponent's shields before they can bring out any blockers.


Here's the deck:


Darkness:

Stinger Worm x4
Bloody Squito x4
Wandering Braineater x3
Writhing Bone Ghoul x2
Bone Spider x2
Black Feather, Shadow of Rage x3
Death Smoke x2

Fire:

Artisan Picora x4
Deadly Fighter Braid Claw x4
Brawler Zyler x4
Onslaughter Triceps x3
Crimson Hammer x2
Burning Power x3


This deck has some power-ups and a few creature removal spells to back it up, but for the most part it has low-level attackers.

Now for the awesome part: this deck only costs $7.35 plus shipping and handling! It costs less than a Duel Masters Starter Deck, but has much more power and effectiveness.

All you need to do is find common and uncommon cards that are excellent for the type of deck you're wanting to build.

So remember: a really good deck doesn't have to be really expensive.
