Ahh yes this week rocks!, if u read my reports, you would know, dragons are my specialty. Ok well i missed the COTD for bolzard dragon and so that was kinda gay because u dono how many times i've locked them down on repeating there turn 5 over and over again, but enough of that this COTD is about a beefed up almost triple the cost, pyrofighter magnus.

Name: Bazagazeal Dragon
Cost: 8
Race: Armored Dragon
Civilization: Fire
Type: Creature
Rules Text:
Speed attacker (This creature doesn't get summoning sickness.) This creature can attack untapped creatures.
Double breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.) At the end of your turn, return this creature to your hand.
Power: 8000
Mana Number: 1
Artist: Ken Sugawara
Rarity: R
Collector Number: 75
Set: Stomp-a-Trons of Invincible Wrath

power/cost ratio: well 8 mana is a hefty hefty hefty cost and most likely without support that is all you would be doin this turn. now coco lupia can bring this guy out as soon as turn 5 if u bring out 1 turn 3 then one turn 4. now i've brought out two bazagazeal dragons before when i had two coco lupia's on the feild and it was really bad ass to have two 8000 double breakers. 8000 can take out everything weenie and common evo's ex. lancer, dual fang. Now something in my meta is doublegyser and i forget his power but i think it's 9000 and baza can't beat him.

Effect:
well for 8 mana u better be getting a damn good effect, and in this card u get a very balanced and wide array of options. first off it's speed attacker, no exactly the best option for rush. second baza can atk untapped creatures, a very good feature if you got no sheilds and your opp is topdecking monsters, or u don want that merefolk goin off and u need to kill

that emeral. 3rd, double breaker, i've finished the game alot of the time with baza once all my bolmeteus were gone, double breaker is nothing to laugh about.

Overall: 7/10 sometimes people tech this in control, its a very balanced card, a little to high of mana, and can be brought down by coco lupia, i personally really like ethis card.

First off.. I want to make this a quick review.  Second off, wouldn't you like to see Bazagazeal in a Spelling competition.  Okay...

So, if you look at it closely, you can see that this creature is great.  Time to show you

Race/Civilization: O_o The all-powerful and feared by many, Armored Dragons!... Okay lame again.  Fire before now didn't have a Terror Pit or Natural Snare.  Well, I can tell you they didn't see it coming as a monster.

Cost/Power: .500%  So a whopping 8000 power, but as they say, Strength isn't everything.*

Effect:Well, Since strength isn't everything, what else is there.  There's the effect, duh!!  Speed Attacker is only for Fire monsters (unless you use Survivors).  So that is great.  Double Breaker is another plus.  Who wouldn't want a Pyrofighter Magnus on steroids?  Lastly, how about shutting down your opponents options each and every turn?  Well that is what they call the ability to attack untapped creatures.

Rating:
Constructed: 4.5/5  Awesome card, you should definitely find room for it if you are running control.
Limited:4.5/5 Who doesn't want to give their opponent a beating with a card that can't be attacked.**
Overall 4.5/5

Well, sorry for the brief review.  If you want to chat or have any comments, danieljs@bellsouth.net is the way to reach me.  'Till next time, happy dueling.

I'll be frank.  *Changes name*  I chose this week, largely due to the upcoming release of Epic Dragons of Hyper Chaos, but also because no one else had chosen anything.  Now you might say, "Frank, why waste our time with these dragons?"  And I would say, BECAUSE I FELT LIKE IT!  We usually cater towards veteran players, so for this week, I'm typing for the "Timmy" in all of us.  That said, let Frank guide you in a review of the lovechild of Pyrofighter Magus and Bolshack Dragon...

Bazagazeal Dragon
Cost: 8
Civilization: Fire
Card Type: Annoying Creature
Race:  Armored Dragon
•    Speed attacker (This creature doesn't get summoning sickness.)
This creature can attack untapped creatures.
Double breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.)
At the end of your turn, return this creature to your hand
Power:  8000
Mana Generated: 1
Rarity: Rare
Card Number: 75/110

TOO MANY EFFECTS!!!!  Once again you might be saying, "Surely it's not too bad."  I say, "It isn't... but stop calling my Shirley."  *Changes name again*

Civilization: Like all Armored Dragons (UP TO THIS POINT) he's a fire card.  He fits the theme of the fire realm all to well.  He's a great rush card, and he's a fattie, all in one nice little package.  He makes TERRIBLE evo-bait though.  One might say I have the 'hots' for that.

Cost: Eight mana is a bunch of mana.  It's likely all you'll be able to do in this turn.  You also won't summon him early on, but hey, better 'eight' than never!

Power:  8000 power = nice.  It's vanilla for his cost, which usually is not cool.  By the time you drop eight mana, you should be getting a little more power than that.  Maybe his effects have something to do with this?  It's a cause and 'effect' thing after all....

Abilities: He's got four abilities going 'for' him, so let's go for a look.

Firstly, he's got speed attacker.  I don't mean to rush this review here, but I really don't think I need to explain why that is good...  but since reviewing gives me such a rush, I'll do it anyway.  He hits the second he hits the field, preventing your opponent from being able to abuse it during it's summoning sickness induced weak spot.

Then, it can blitz right into untapped creatures that WERE summon-sick last turn.  Destroying untapped creatures can be great, since your opponent likely was having to wait to attack with them, or was saving them for a reason.  Bazagaeal just runs into them and does a little tap dance on their heads....

Or, behind door number two, is a double breaker ability.  Two shields for one attack is nice.  Especially since your opponent will likely have not had a chance to brace themselves for it.

Finally, he then retreats to the hand at the end of the turn.  This saves him from being destroyed on the field next turn, but it DOES make him susceptablet to hand control cards.  I gotta 'hand' it to this guy though, he can... WAIT, PUT THAT DOWN, STOP!!!

WE REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT LEE SANDOW/FRANK/SHIRLEY/WHATEVER WAS VIOLENTLY ATTACKED AND KILLED FOR HIS LAME HUMOR AT THIS TIME.  LUCKLIY, DUE TO THE TIMELY ACTIONS OF STEVEN CANTRELL, HURRICANE HORUS, AND DRIZER, LEE WAS REVIVED BY THE USE OF A DARK REVERSAL.  WE NOW RETURN YOU TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED REVIEW.

THE REVIEW

Constructed overview: Hey, I'm just happy to be alive here...  ANyhow, in a rush deck or a control deck, this card can rock-out-loud.  Give him a try, see what you think.  4/5

Limited overview: If you can summon this guy in this format, and you aren't bludgeoned to death the next turn, this guy can win the game.  This guy is a SEXY BEAST (like me) in this format.  Keep a sharp lookout for him while drafting!  5/5

ISN'T LEE COOL?  CHECK OUT THIS NEW THING HE'S DOING!

By the way, I've got something new I'm going to do at the end of each COTD from now on.  I'll underline one line from my COTD report, and you can e-mail me and explain it.  The first person to e-mail me correctly gets their name (whatever name you send me, real name or an alias, it doesn't matter) placed in the next COTD review.  The first person to get in five times will be mailed a copy of whatever card I was reviewing when you win for the fifth time.  Cool?  I think so too!

Next time:  What? Spoil the fun? NEVER!!!
