That Guy That Plays DreamBlade

BACKALLEY SKUNTCH

Another Plague piece for review, one that hasn't gotten much competitive play as it might deserve. Looking above, it is a double aspect 6 drop for Fear, which is one aspect that has amazing 6 drops as is in the form of Butcher or Knight of Autumn Gate. Although this has no sign of a summoning condition, it had alot weaker stats. 4 power is nice, but 4/6 makes it weaker than some Passion pieces of similar cost. Now its ability makes everything except locations cost +1 to spawn. Even yours unfortunately. Now I see this personally working out in weenie bands, since it really does not help you if you're running high cost pieces with this. Using low drops like Cannibal Pariah and Barbstrider and scoring effects like Baba's Hut or the Geentel Husk, you can pick up some early turns fast. Throwing this piece in would control how many bigger pieces they can throw out to combat your pieces. Other than that, it appears to be more of a random figure with a random effect with no benefit for the person using it.

Constructed - 2/5 - Its a decent beater, but don't expect this to do much else.
Sealed - 3/5 - This works slightly better here because this set has a higher top curve, so it can prevent big pieces like PDK or Grawlth from seeing board.
Artwork - 4/5 - Matrix style is questionable.
