That Guy That Plays DreamBlade

NAGA BROODQUEEN

Ok, more cool stuff for today. Naga is another 5 drop to add to Valor's strongest spot. They already have the Scout and the two Knights from the base set, and now we get a 5 drop with KoT's stats. So skip to the effect, so reader's skimming my review will see if he's better than the Skirmish Knight. Rush is Double Blade, which Valor isn't really suited for. However, being able to more multiple characters from one cell to another is very nice. Plus, there is no restriction regarding the enemy on the piece, meaning it essentially can act as alot of Skirmishs or alot of Advances. IMO, this guy needs to be splashed, and preferably with Passion with or without Bloodcut.

Constructed - 3.5/5 - Use in Bloodcut style warbands. The other 5 drops are better for other Valor based bands althought he could be better than KoS&J for some warbands.

Sealed - 3.5/5 - Same rating, as you will probably end up splashing him with guys with alot of power.

Artwork - 3/5 - Its cool, nothing more

Naga Broodqueen

Quite possibly the most favored of the pieces we are doing this week, Scaley here has one of the best movement abilities this side of Haste Gambit 2 or Multiblade Advance.

Stats are... meh, to be honest. 5V should get you 3 power, IMHO, but 7|8 D&L is great. No competition for the slot from Baxar's War, but the Base Set does have a few pieces that you'll need to consider (Twilight Scout, Knight of Tomorrow), so some thinking may need to be done.

But not much. Naga's rivals for the 5 spot only affect one ally. Naga Broodqueen's affects an entire cell. Under the right circumstances, it is 4 skirmishes OR advances for the price of 2, and there aren't any stipulations about those allies needing to be engaged or not. Yes, it's a double blade, so it is very unlikely she'll be setting it off on her own, but there are plenty of pieces that will help you Rush on. Clawclan Scout, Virtuous Maiden, and Zungar Blademaster are all on a first name basis with this Queen, and those are just the weenies.

Constructed: 4/5 Rush is good. Accept that and live happily.
Limited: 4/5 Rush is still good. It always will be.

Naga BroodQueen

Today we have Fleshworm broodshire's much nicer counter-part *at least
sculp/flavor/name
wise* Naga BroodQueen.
First, cost: 5V
then power: 2
and defence: 7
and finnaly life: 8
thats, in all actuallity, a good amount of stats for 5V. 7/8 life is nice,
even if you have only 2 power. And then theirs the double-blade ability: Rush.
Its an EXCELENT ability, for two blades, you could *potentionally* move 4
figs one cell.I love it.

limited: 5/5 *movement is great for limited, and the life/defence and spawn
cost is also good*
constructed: 4/5 *i think its that good :-)*
sculpt: 3.75/5 *pretty cool :-)*

i just relized i used two smileys in two sentances :-)
*their I go again*
