Darkheart Cottage

I just hope this place ain't out in Cali. God knows nobody could afford then, and 6MMM is already pretty expensive. That's what, US $3,000,000?

Eh, anyway, this is actually a very nifty place to live. Thing is, the location slots for most warbands is already pretty full. You got Pearlthorn Castle and Arch of Triumph for movement in just about anything with Valor, and you have Heartsblood Temple for that bit of extra spawn in anything with Passion. Compared to such tactical advantages, a bit of extra power for one cell really... eh.

Don't get me wrong, please. Cottage is an excellent location, but it's very limited in how it can help you. Yeah, you could put him in a pretty highly contested cell, like the center one or whatever, but it'll only work for that one cell. You'll probably get a pretty hefty boost even if you only have one or two unengaged Scissors hanging back or whatever, but after that... what then? Odds are, you'll just get shunted out with a Scare or a Lure or some such thing and then nobody will be around to deal with your opponent. Or they could just hand that cell to you and focus elsewhere. Or they could start purposely engaging other creatures to shut the power bonus down. Or they could kill people with warpstrike. There are plenty of ways to deal with DHC, all of which will screw you over as well.

Of course, if you manage to kill three or four pieces, you definitely put things in your favor. Of course, they just got an extra six or eight spawn points next Spawn Phase...

Constructed: 3/5 I'd be very careful here. Movement is king in Dreamblade, kinda like draw power in a normal TCG like Yugioh or Magic. This doesn't quite help enough figures to be an auto-include in most bands, but if you playtest it and like the results, it's certainly worth play.
Limited: 2/5 Any location that doesn't start with Arch, Pearlthorn, or Heartsblood, I skip. At least for the time being of course.
