HAMMERHEAD
Another piece I chose...Woohoo!! This guy is one
of my favorite pieces in Baxar's mainly just for
looking like Jackie Chan and for being a pretty
interesting one as far as an ability. People
turn away at his stats. Yes, he does have 1/2
for stats, but odds are he won't be on the field
for long. You may use him in an attack sometimes
for 3 power, but his effect makes it so he is
less likely to battle. Double Stakes require you
can remove him from the game if he is in a
scoring cell during a spawn phase. If you do,
who ever win that turn essentially wins an extra
turn as well. This is a great ability to release
cause it adds pressure to both players, and
involves strategic thinking from both sides of
the table. He can help get ahead on early turns,
or like the winner of 10k SoCal did, and revive
him on a turn you have the upper hand in using
Baxar the Soulstitcher's Call ability, and then
tribute it off then. Aside from that, it can be
very helpful to Mono-Passion rush, which can
only hold field presense effectively on turns it
doesn't have initiative to give it more time to
sink back and develop the board. Again, this is
a piece you must test to master. Get to work!
Constructed - 2.5/5 - Its a risky thing to run
over Boneclan Hunter or Bloodthirsthy Redcap,
but I suppose with the right support, it could
be used effectively. No more than 1 or 2.
Sealed - 2/5 - No more than a cheap beater. Very
few times will you use the ability and win the
two turns.
Artwork - 5/5 - Laugh guys, laugh. Its a
guy....with a hammer....on his head

ok, this guys a killer....a 3 passion drop is
nice, and his effect that whoever wins wins the
turnwins two turns....nice. 3 power is good as
well.
1/2 defence means he'll need some help to ge
this ability off, but still...

sculpt: 1.2/5 (wtheck????)
