Welcome to “Cards That Were Bad But Too Many People Thought Were Good” Week, where I review five of the most over-hyped, overplayed bad cards in competitive play.

Now as much as I like Narukami, I have to admit The Blood was a disaster, that only had traction because OG Vermillion could kill setup boards. LB5 meant the extra Critical couldn’t even be used as a catchup tool (assuming it didn’t get PG’d, Late Game Critical Sucks Stamp Go), it was basically Vermillion except with stricter requirements functionally, and only seemed attractive because of its 13k body, which the End was also but with much better use.

Funny that past reviews of it were kind. Shows you what happens when you don’t standardize practices in Vanguard back then.

1.5/5
