Return to Pojo's Dragonball - Interviews

Q:First, why do you use your real name in IRC?Aren't you afraid of stalkers or something?

A:Not really. First of all, I seriously doubt anyone cares enough about me or my stupid little site to go through all that trouble. Second, using my name makes me no easier to find than the rest of you. Just trace the IP, and bam, it doesn't matter. Third, uh, I really don't care much for screen names. There are tons of "Vegeta"s and "Goku"s out there, but hey, I'm the only Steve.

Q:Interesting...so,how did you come up with the idea for "The Vault"

A: I wanted a DBZ site, but I had neither the resources nor the time to do my own multi-media, bios, and all that other shit you need to be successful; so I figured, what's the next best thing to GOOD content? ORIGINAL content! I'm the first interview site. Plus, it was a good excuse to talk to all the guys that owned these great sites as an equal, not an annoying fan boy (not sure if that last part worked out, though... :D)

Q:How long did it take you to get everything basic down, like the layout and things would you use.Has "The Vault" been through many layouts?

A: Hmmm, well, the original layout concept took a while, but after I got it, it was all pretty bang-up. I went through about four really bad betas before I got the basic hang of HTML. After the site had been out for about a month or two, I redisgned it because my lay-out had gotten slammed pretty bad by a bunch of people. So that's where the design and such came from. As far as the interviews are concerned, they came fairly easily from the refinement over the past few months.

Q:So,are you happy with how the site's coming along nowadays?

A: Yes, although I wish I wasn't so lazy. I'd really like to update more, but I'm a bit limited by my narrow subject matter. Anyhow, since I'm basically hooked up with about everybody you'd want to be, I'd have to say things are going well enough.

Q:Was it hard to obtain an interview with Gen Fukagnaga, the President of FUNimation?

A:Not at all, actually. He was surprisingly accesible.

Q:Woah, something I'd never suspect.Well, how about everyone else you interviewed, were they a pain to get to?

A:Nope, just an email away.... except Chris Psaros, he ook forever to answer my questions... :P

Q:Well,is there anything else you'd like to say,or did you get it all out already?

A:Thanks to everyone who helped me, and, in the eternal words of VegettoEX, "Got any nachos?"
