As I'm sure you're well aware, Score has announced not too long ago that
they have recieved the liscence to make a collectible card game for Dragon
Ball GT. They originally said that it would be compatible with the DBZ ccg,
but now I'm seeing posts on message boards saying that they don't know, or
that it isn't going to be compatible, or that Score is actually a mass
conspiracy of extortion...(ungh, some people should not be allowed on
message boards...some of the stuff people post is so stupid).

Anyway, seeing as how you are more "aware" (for lack of a better word) of
the game than most, do you know what the real deal is as to whether or not
the DBGT ccg will be compatible with the DBZ ccg? If not, what is your
opinion? Should they be compatible, or do you think it would be better for
DBGT ccg to be an entirely separate game?

DBGT will be an exapansion to the DBZCCG game. The only major difference is the card backs will look different, and thus to play you'll need opaque back sleeves. I bet Score will do formats in which DBZ is played only, DBGT is played only, and ones where both are mixed together.

So yes, they will be fully mixable and playable together. Just get sleeves and you'll be fine.

If Score did not make the game playable with the current DBZ one, you would be seeing people quitting left and right. Why? Because seeing there would be very few DBZ cards being made, after Kid Buu and some promo sets and stuff, the game would have very little to go off of. Thus, Score is integrating both games, and prolonging the life of it. Even I would have to start selling extra cards. It would only make sense because Score would be ending DBZ and cards would be worth nothing.

But of course that's not the case. Long live the DBZCCG as it evolves into DBGTCCG.
