Subject: Re: Dr. Myuu No Tokui Waza Deck ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: Irmyman Date: Thu, 6 May 2004 21:09:18 EDT Hi This is a deck I constructed for focused. The basic idea is to get to my level 3 and force discard cards from there deck. I use the multi blocks to protect myself from attacks, and since there is very few focused attacks in GT they work good. I dont play a tokui waza so I can use all the non-combats I want. Can you give any advice on what to take out and put in? Thanks. Here it is. Please tell me any cards to cut and/or add. Irmyman@aol.com ************* Like I told you that's not smart. Making a deck with this kind of focus is doomed to fail. You're attempting to make a deck that is similar to "Carpet" but the problem is you're lacking a good strategy. Sure you can think that your level 3 will save you and win the game, but what if you don't get there? What if your opponent removes/discards your non-combats? What if your opponent Dragon Balls you (running just 1 Smoke Dragon is not recommended, especially since you run no DBs, which you should run some). You're not running too many Combat cards either outside of a bajillion blocks. They'll screw you over in DB matchups. Your nons will clog your hands in beatdown matchups most likely. You'll need more ally tech as well. Also, 85 cards means you won't get your choice hands. And where's your level 4. It's a little broken. If you want to try this kind of deck out, I'd go with Black Energetic to speed up to level 3 then 4. Then from there, just search out the best card for the situation and easily beat your opponent. Interesting concept but a flawed idea. I haven't tried it of course, but just from hearing it doesn't sound like it will work. Feel free to try, but I'd bet it will lose to most other decks with a better focus. Good luck. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to point out something you didn't think over throughly. -- matthewlow@franceslow.com "You will not be allowed to do this to anyone else!" - Gohan --
