I go up levels while attempting to dish out damage to my opponent's life deck. And since this was the last week Cell Saga cards couldn't be used I chose red for obvious reasons. Round 1: Opponent: Matt Jefferson-Orange Style SSJ Gohan Well I was hoping I'd get a benefit from my level 2 card for that match. But to summarize the whole match he had no energy attacks and got to level 4 somewhat easily while almost decking him. Round 2: Opponent: Bryan Layman-Saiyan Style SSJ Goku At the start I was worried because I know how tricky his decks tend to be and my opening hand stunk so I was really worried, but after a few turns I got up to level4 with minor damage to my life deck and I did some to his as well with the help of a couple of Tien's Mental Conditionings. I count this victory on luck that he the only anti-anger card he pulled was in his hand during the last combat. Round 3: Opponent: Dukie Nation-Black Style Piccolo The Trained This battle took longer than the last because I had to deal with black defensive bursts and SSJ effects for awhile. I ended his chance of winning by removing Android 18 with a red energy blast and proceeded to do lots of physical damage but I got to level 4 first. Round 4: BI Couch-Saiyan Style Vegeta The Determined and the rest of the match was both of us hitting each other's life deck. I tried to get a survival victory with a final physical at level3 fully powered with 4 anger, but I came up a card short and he drew out on his turn. The funniest part was that dring the last combat he saiyan truced and I trunks energy sphered it but thinking about my anger I used my other energy sphere on the previous one which got a "what the heck are you doing" reaction. Round 5: Chris Coffey-Red Style Goku HT Just as humor before the round started I told him it'd be heck if I got 2 Goku's Physical Attacks and a Red Knee Bash my first hand. Low and behold my first 3 cards were 2 GPA and a Red Palm Heel Strike so we exchanged hits that round. I got the advantade when he started combat with 2 anger at 2 and I drew a goku's battle ready and gohan's ready while I got to level 3. My next turn I won by attacking with Red Mastery. Quarterfinals: Chris Coffey-Red Style Goku HT Well he got the first turn this time and the advantage somewhat. I drew a Goku's Battle Ready in my opening hand. He jst angered up the rest of the time and he beat me to level 3. During the trun after I started with a SSJ effect and crippled his attacks that round and got to level 4. Afterwards, he said he was satisfied by beating me to Level 3 that game. Semi-Finals: Jamie Huskey- BLack Style Vinegar His deck is for a DB victory which game me problems considering my capabilities of knocking off his N-C cards. I got to level 2 the first combat but during his turn he attacked and pulled Namek 2 from his life deck. This was the longest match of the day on the account of Vegeta Scanned at level2 as well, Cell's Threatening Positioned at level3, and had some awful abrasions early on. I got the AA off with a Red Face Upheaval The biggest help was I got to use Chioatzu's Psychic Halt and Time Is A Warrior's Tool(pulling it again with a GPA) And got to level 4 despite successful black defensive bursts. Which benefited me because I was sent up a level with my level 2 power every time one was used. I forgot that we both had out It's Just Not Worth It to counteract each other but mine was discarded with Namek 4. (He only got out 3 DBs) Finals: Josh Wright-Saiyan Style Vegeta The Determined I was relieved at first with the only time I pulled Kami's Floating Island with It's Just Not Worth It. The whole game luck for both of us with cards stopping damage and such. During the middle of the game he had a painful hand for me that I used Time Is A Warrior's Tool, which he energy sphered and did it back to him with my own that got a few choice words. But I came through it in the end and got to 4. I won the tournament flawlessly (not really) and undefeated with the following prizes: Tourament Winner shirt, Orange Scouter and Sword, Saiyan Saga Villian Deck, Planet Vegeta, and 2x Tien Stands Ready!!! wearitout@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
