I know a lot of people say it is a cheap way to win, but I don't agree. I have seen a lot of sucky anger decks out there so I decided to make oneand found the perfect personality for one. Goku. First off I use his Level 1 high tech. It's great. My opponent starts at 2 stages above zero I start at full and I go first. Also his power is a physical attack doing 4 power stages. So it doesn't matter what stage I'm on. Plus the low power level doesn't matter because I'm only on his first stage for a little bit. His second stage is very good gain 2 anger after a combat when you have gotten 5 life cards of damage. I take energy attacks just for that. And his third stage says all cards that lower anger can only lower it one. On to attacks. I have a bunch of physical attacks that do + damage and raise my anger. I don't have many energy attacks but the ones I do raise my anger 1 or 2 and are just plain good. Now for Combat cards. Trunks Energy Sphere is great for stopping cards like Time is a Warrior's Tool and others like that. Mother's Touch is great for stopping an attack and Time is a warrior's Tool is just awesome. As for defense besides the ones just mentioned I have Nappa's Energy Aura, Vegeta's Physical Stance, and Nappa's Physical Resistance. All are good. Also Red Energy shield and Red knee strike are good blockers. Non-Combat cards I have Earth Dragon Balls 3,4, and 5. 2 raise anger and the other is just good. My only drill is Vegeta's Quickness Drill. Since I go to my next level so fast Drills are almost pointless. My last Non-Combat cards are cards that raise my anger like Gohan's Anger and Burning Rage. Then there is T-Rex Defense which is awesome to stop physical attacks. The purpose of this deck is to use all the anger raising cards and my mastery to get me to my 4th stage. This deck moves VERY fast. I usually win by like the 3rd maybe 4 combat if I'm going slow. Beat em Hard, Beat em Good, Gain Anger. That's what this deck is all about. Now on to the report. Report: This was an official tournament. The entry fee was 5 dollars. 20 people were allowed to enter which there were. It was single elimination. They had to write down our decks before hand. On to the rounds. Round 1 vs. some little kid with blue deck: When I saw him pull out his blue mastery I was horrified. Red does bad against blue (well so I thought) I didn't want to lose the first match. He had Garlic Junior as his personality. It turns out his deck wasn't good at all. I beat him down with Goku while gaining anger. The little blue attacks he had I discarded them. He never really did much damage to me. He had 7 lifecards left in his deck 5 of which were dragon balls when I got to my 4th level. wins-1 loses-0 Round 2 vs. some Michael with red deck: Michael is a good friend of mine. We battle a lot outside of tournaments and stuff. I didn't want to face him. He had a Krillin Deck with Red mastery. Basically a race to the 4th form. I did a bunch of attacks to him bringing him down to zero. I was also lucky to get my good blockers out early. I got to my 4th level and he was only at his second. wins-2 loses-0 Round 3 vs. some kid with Trunks deck - Semi Finals This kid's deck consisted of a Trunks deck with no mastery. He had a bunch of good physical attacks and some energy attacks. This was a pretty good game. I didn't block most of his attacks considering they never did much to me. He had some anger lowering cards. But that didn't stop me. I got to my 4th form pretty quick. Winning the game. wins-3 loses-0 Round 4 vs. some kid with Frieza red style deck - Finals This was a good game. Another race to the 4th form. He didn't have much anger raising cards in his deck. He did have several good attacks. He did a bunch of lifecards of damage to me. But the whole time Goku kept getting mad pumping my anger up. The last round of combat was long. We both used cards to draw extra cards to our hands. He used 3 King Kai's thoughts making his physical attacks doing +11 including his power. He had attacked with about 5 physical attacks that would have done 15 each. But I just smirked as I let my T-Rex Defense take all the damage. Then I got to my 4th stage throwing my ultra rare goku onto the table winning. wins-4 loses-0 All in all I saw it was a good tournament. My matches were pretty tough but not too tough. There was only 1 other blue deck besides the one I faced. And it was eliminated by somebody else. It was my first official tournament and I am very pleased that I won it. Here is what my prizes were. First I got a special T-shirt that is orange and says Dragon Ball Z tournament winner. It's pretty cool. Then I got a special orange Scouter and Warrior Sword. You can only get these by winning a tourament. Finally I got 4 promo cards - level 4 saiyan saga holo's of Goku, Krillin, and Vegeta, and a Red Blocking Hand that goes perfect in my deck.
