Dragonball Z Budokai 3 game review
Hey guys, SuperSaiyanTrunks here, with another game review. This game may have been out for awhile, but its still good. It got an over-all rating of 8.4/10, the highest ranking DBZ game in the whole line. Thats including the GBA games, but if you want to know, the highest ranking DBZ GBA game was Dragonball Z: Buu's Fury. But enough about that. This is a Budokai 3 review. It's got the same graphics of Budokai 2, but if you look real close, they have been enhanced. Its not a game bord looking thing, you fly over the world, looking for where you need to go. Story Mode is called Dragon Universe, and all the characters are a little more diffucult to unlock. And theres something to unlock called Dragon Arena. You level up your player more, to become even more powerful. The characters you can use in Dragon Universe are: Goku, Kid Gohan, Teen Gohan, Gohan, Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, Uub and Broly. Yes, you can use Broly in DU. Two other characters you can unlock are the Sabamen and the Cell Jr's.  There not just one person, I think you get to use 5 of them in a battle. Dabura In story mode defeat Dabura with Teen Gohan
Great Saiyaman In story mode defeat cell with Teen Gohan or Kid Gohan
Bardok In the beginning of DU fly over to Raditz's spaceship, you should see a ???. Enter it and you should get him.
Brolly Beat him on the second time through as Goku instead of Kid Buu.
Gogeta Capsule On a time through as Goku/Vegeta.Instead of fighting Uub/Brolly,you receive an invetation from their sons to fight in a fusion. Just win that fight.
Cooler After beating Frieza under where you beat him, should be SS Vegeta. Beat him and Vegeta will tell you about him. Go to Cooler's red mark and beat him.

Gogeta (ssj4) In Vegeta's DU instead of fighting Kid Buu go find Goku who is now a Super Saiyan 4. Defeat him and you will get this Fusion.
Trunks (young) Defeat Majin Buu in Dragon Universe mode while playing with Vegeta.
Gotenks Buy in the capsule shop.
Omega Shenron Once invited to fight against Gotenks at the tournament, go visit Bulma in west city. Next defeat Gotenks and then you'll get to unlock Omega Shenron.
Hercule/Mr.Satan Help him out in Piccolo DU mode (Majin Saga) at the desert and talk to videl at central city
Android 16 Find him at Plain among the south island and bring him to Bulma in West City (Krillin DU mode 2nd time)
Supreme Kai/Kaioshin You will find him at the plain before you go to the last battle in Gohan DU mode
Cell Jr. Beat Piccolo in Dragon Arena when he broken in (your level must be at 20-40)
Saibaman Beat Nappa in Dragon Arena when he broken in (your level must be at 10-20)
Vegeta SSJ4 Buy it from Skill Shops(Random) when you got Black Membership Card
Gogeta (Vegeta) Buy it from Skill Shops(Random) when you got Black Membership Card
Kid Goku Playing As Goku in DU second time before faceing nappa check water to the right for Grampa Gohans house to unlock Kid Goku faster
Goku (SSJ4) defeat kid buu with a super spirit bomb and there'll be a continuation of DU. Don't go to the dot. Go to the islands next to the dot and go to the ???

Here are some more things to unlock:

Grandpa Gohan's House Instead of fighting Piccolo in the Mountains, go to Grandpa Gohan\'s House and defeat Goku (w/ Kid Gohan in DU mode 2nd time)
Planet Namek Play the Namek saga.
Inside Buu Beat Super Buu inside of himself with Goku and Vegeta.
Red Ribbon Army Base Unlock Dragon Arena mode.
Urban Level To unlock the Urban Level in the beginning of Teen Gohan's Dragon Universe go to Central City.
Supreme Kai's World Beat Kid Buu in both Goku and Vegeta's Dragon Universe in Supreme Kai's World to unlock.
Granpa Gohan House In ( Adult) Gohan DU, go there and beat Goten, then next beat Videl, and come back to Granpa Gohan House enter in it and you will unlock


Membership Cards
These are located in Goku's Dragon universe. All 3 membership cards can be found on an island, just north of the Golden-Gate looking bridge. After going through Goku's Dragon Universe a few times, all 3 will be there to be collected


Silver, Gold, and Black membership cards.
The cards can either be bought in the shop after you spend a certain amount there, or found in Dragon Universe by a character of high enough level. In DU, the cards appear at the same place for each character every time. For Goku, (probably the easiest character to get them with) they appear on an island just West-Northwest of the main continent. It doesn't matter how many times you go through DU, it is your character level that matters.
Silver Membership Card Character Lvl 2+, or spend 1,500 zenie in shop or have budokai 2 save.
Gold Membership Card Character Lvl 15+, or spend 100,000 zenie in shop.
Black Membership Card Character Lvl 30+, or spend 250,000 zenie in shop.


Extra Difficulty Levels
Z3 Mode ( Endless Path to Power ) Beat Dragon Universe on Z2 Mode once
Z2 Mode ( The Path to Power ) Beat Dragon Universe on Z Mode once
Z Mode ( Goku's Wish ) Beat Dragon Universe on Very Hard once


Strongest of Universe capsule
Beat Dragon Universe with one of the 11 characters on the Z 3 difficulty setting.


Quickly Unlock Z-Z3 modes
When you unlock Uub (kill Kid Buu using the Spirit Bomb) he only has to fight 3 characters to end his game (you still get credit when fighting on super hard, Z, Z2, and Z3). However, dont collect the dragonballs after the first time you beat DU otherwise you will have to fight Omega Shrenron which is nearly impossible to do in any of the Z modes.


New World Tournament Levels
By winning the previous levels you can unlock the next tournament levels. Inorder to do this you must purchase the capsule from the skill shop.
Adept Tournament Beating Novice and buying the capsule from the skill shop.
Advanced Tournament Beating Adept and buying the capsule from the skill shop.
