Being a Hero: Knowing anything about DBZ the TV show, or by reading the rule booklet for the card game, you'll realize that the Villians are a LOT stronger than the good guys. Their power stage numbers are much higher than the heros', as well as their power up ratings. You might think, "I want to win when I play the card game, so I'll play as a villian." But what about those of you (like me) who want to play as the good guys? Well here's a strategy that should help: The villains can easily win by brute force, so getting a highest personality win or staying alive win can be very hard. Going for a Dragonball win is your best bet, but there's one more option for those of you who want to win without DB's. (or if you just don't have any!) This strategy is sorta common sense if you watch the TV show. Allies! Did you ever notice how the ratio of good guys to bad guys on TV is like, 4:1?! The fact is, there are a lot more good guy allies than there are bad guy allies, so use them! Honestly, you didn't think the card company would leave you good guy fans with a card game that's so unbalanced that you have to be bad to win did you? Having 2 allies means that there are 3 people "Powering Up" each turn, instead of just your Main Personality. When your main personality's in the low stages, allies can take over attacking, plus they don't need anger to level up! Use your allies to soak up damage. When your main personality and your allies are all in low stages, and an attack that you can't block would do too much damage, use a card like "Ally's Sacrifice." That card stops all damage you would've received, but destroys an ally. Combine allies with other good deck making ideas and you can beat those baddies. Good luck.
