The Help of Earth – Kid Buu Saga
Common - #31
Non-Combat

Power: If you have 2 other copies of "The Help of Earth" and/or "Energy Gathering" in play, search your Sensei Deck for "Earth's Spirit Bomb" and place it into your hand.

There’s no point to this card besides to pull Earth’s Spirit Bomb, so run it if you are playing Spirit Bomb. That’s pretty much it. Otherwise don’t run it because you won’t do anything except maybe scare your opponent into thinking you are playing it.

Just a couple notes… It isn’t limit 1 per deck, so Yajirobe Retired can pull this thing out to speed up Spirit Bomb. Try Energy Lob out with this card if you don’t need it anymore. It also helps get Spirit Bomb out faster. Note that you can have two Help of Earths out and actually pull more than one Spirit Bomb… but why you’d need to besides your opponent discarding your first one is beyond me.

But yeah, it does nothing but sit and wait until you are Spirit Bomb ready. Then you just go for the kill and be done with it.

Standard: 1.4 out of 5.0 (sitting duck)

Tuff Enuff: 1.4 out of 5.0 (ditto, wait for Earth’s Spirit Bomb’s review)

Sealed: don’t run it cause you won’t be getting Spirit Bomb out unless you randomly pull a Sensei, 3 Help of Earth/ Energy Gathering, AND Spirit Bomb… ~matthewlow

Yep, pretty much the only way (right now..) to pull out that hefty Earth's Spirit Bomb for your deck, annoying, isn't it? It will be difficult for players of Earth's Spirit Bomb to pull this off.. getting 2 copies of "the Help of Earth" or "Energy Gathering" is incredibly difficult. Most ducks run cards to kill of Non-Combat cards, and now because of Earth's Spirit Bomb, this is even moreso. So, yeah.. if you manage to pull this off, great! Chances are, you won't though :p.

There is only one reason to use this card, to get Earth's Spirit Bomb.
Earth's Spirit Bomb is one of the most devastating cards out there right
now, just with a Z Warriors Gather and a Gathering of heroes your opponent will discard the top 73+ cards of their life deck! You need this card in order to get Earth's Spirit Bomb, so it is very important.

Ratings:

Standard - 3.25/5

Tuff Enuff - 3.25/5

Sealed Deck - 1.0/5 (you are not going to get this combo off in sealed deck)

Standard Play:  4/5
Honestly, I thought Bomb decks would be big. Well, I guess not. Well... sort of, it depends on if you have ways to get all the cards mentioned in this card into play. The Help of Earth & 2-Energy Gatherings. I give this a 4 b/c... of this: If you have this in play, and if you have an Extra copy of this in play, and 2-ESB's in your Sensei Deck, then dare I say a lot of problems here. This card doesn't say get rid of the 3 cards, it's just this card. Well, this card's purpose, especially for a COMMON is very very interesting.

Tuff Enuff:  2.5/5
Just because it's Tuff Enuff & since Non-Combats don't come into play much, you must say that it's average and worth playing, but not a BIG change in play styles.
Robbie The Help of Earth
If you have 2 other copies of "The Help of Earth" and/or "Energy Gathering" in play, search your Sensei Deck for "Earth's Spirit Bomb" and place it into play.

Well the only thing I can say about this card is unless you run ESB don't even give it a second look because it is useless. But if you do run ESB put these in along with Energy Gathering and get them out after you get a bunch of your allies out. Gotta watch out for all the non combat hate going around but if you can pull this off you will win the game pretty much if your allies are at full.

Standard -1 (unless you run ESB then I give it a 5)
TE -1 Unless you run ESB then I give it another 5 lol)
