Hello Pojo Fans,

Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder wraps up the week and continues a trend of high rank monsters that can be summoned with ease.

Two Level 12 monsters, or you can just attack with an Xyz and then summon Sky Thunder…choose this way to summon it. Trading two materials for an all-out board wipe is heavily favoring the owner of Sky Thunder. Sending the cards avoids destruction-triggering effects, and while it clears the entire board, you can set this up to favor you. The attaching effect of Sky Thunder is a good deck thin ability to get to things in your deck that will work in the grave, as well as using cards that help monsters when attached to them (Phantom Knight trap cards). Any player who uses an Xyz monster could run this card, and should. You are likely to have an Xyz material on the Xyz monster when you Special Summon Sky Thunder, and that Xyz makes two, giving you the board wipe you want. Even without the ability to clear out cards, Sky Thunder is still a 3000ATK beater for you. It may be in Main Phase 2, but as long as you can fulfill its requirement, you will clear the field, and have a monster that can do it each turn as long as you supply it with materials. Zoodiac with their ability to Xyz climb and amass materials could make for a Sky Thunder that stays around clearing everything in its way each turn. A one-off of Sky Thunder’s effect could be enough for you to finish your opponent, but as is it is a great card to have easy access to.

We end the week off with one of my favorite cards from Phantom Rage due to its power, basically being a modern Evilswarm Exciton Knight: Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder.

ZEUS is a Rank 12 LIGHT Machine with 3000 ATK and DEF. The monster is easy enough to summon to where 3000 is good enough, plus I love LIGHT/Machine combinations. The regular summoning requirements are 2 Level 12 monsters, which is never happening. The summoning requirement you’re using is using an Xyz Monster you control as material during the turn a Xyz Monster battled, which is much easier to do, even if it’s coming down in Main Phase 2. It has a Quick Effect to detach 2 materials from itself to send all other cards on the field to the graveyard, which is just insane and gets around destruciton effects as well. You should easily have 2 materials on this since the Xyz you use is likely going to have at least 1 material left over. Zoodiacs can stack up many materials and end on Boarbow to attack directly and summon this MP2 for multiple board wipes, which isn’t a hard once per turn, so if the first wipe doesn’t do the job, you get more if you have the materials. You can also gain more materials with its soft once per turn effect where if a card you control is destroyed by the opponent, you can attach a card from your hand, Deck or Extra Deck to this, likely getting a brick out of your Deck and a graveyard effect you’d want. AA-ZEUS is such an insanely good card for anything using Xyzs to a point where you might want to try and fit in at least 1 Xyz to also use a ZEUS. Either way, you use Xyzs, you use this. It’s as simple as that because it’s so insanely good.

Art: 5/5 This looks like a complete titan of a monster and I love those kinds of monsters.
