Mmm. An Omanyte deck. Now there's a concept you don't
see used any too often. And it's a shame, because it's
a really cool one. The main problem that I see here is
that your theme is a little confused. Seeing your
opponent's hand is good--but why waste time using
Headache?
1) Okay, first of all--the comment I made about
Headache earlier. It's a waste of an attack for
something that could be done with trainers of your
own--we'll cover this in a second. So if you're not
using Psyduck for anything else, get him out of there.
Now then...Articuno is okay, as is Jynx. Why don't you
go ahead and bump Omanyte up to 4-3 since you have the
room and he is an integral part of this deck.
Excellent. An idea you MIGHT want to consider, only if
you have the space, is running Omastar. Normally I
cringe at playing a Stage 2 that is a Stage 1 in all
but name, but he is not a bad Pokemon in his own
right, and you already have his lower stages. His HP
is decent and Water Gun can do a respectable amount of
damage. If you're feeling lucky, you can even go for
Spike Cannon. Mind you, now...this is only a
suggestion, and it might not be the best of ideas,
'cause you want to keep Omanyte for the Power. It's
just something that occured to me, so I'm tossing it
out there. One last thing...keep in mind when using
Articuno that a bad Blizzard will nuke any Fossils you
may have decorating your bench. A streak of crappy
luck will knock out even an evolved Omanyte. As I say,
keep it in mind.
2) Trainers. This is where this deck should hit
hard...not on some stupid Headache. Omanyte just begs
to be backed up by Lasses and Imposter Oaks. The only
disadvantage of Lass is that it lets your opponent see
your hand (momentarily negating Omanyte) but the
ability to use it when it will do the most good MORE
than makes up for it. "I don't want you to use that
Breeder. Or that Computer Search. Or that Oak. Back
into your deck they go." Imposter Oak is even more
deadly, although your opponent gets at least something
for his trouble. The key thing to remember is that
these are only stalling tactics, and that the theme of
this deck should be to blow your opponent's strategy
to hell, while you take the opportunity to unleash
attacks of your own. On the more general subject of
trainers, your deck is hurting in the usual
areas--Energy Removal and Computer Search. Replace the
Energy Searches with some Retrievals (much better in
my opinion). With 30 total energy, plus 2 Oaks and 4
Bills, the idea of having energy problems is rather
alien to me in the first place. Lastly, let's try some
Item Finders--I've become sold on the usefulness of
this card in general, and in this trainer-intensive
deck one or two would work well.
3) Energy. As I note above, you really shouldn't be
having energy problems with this sort of drawing. Not
to mention that 30 total energy (!!) is just obscene.
Cut the amount of total energy to around 24. You're
going to have to play around with the water-psychic
balance a bit, but I'm going to start by setting the
water energy slightly higher. This makes sense because
Jynx can use some colorless energy, while both
Articuno and Lapras cannot.

Let me explain what I've done here. First of all, I
put Lapras in to help you get strong basics. I also
cut a Bill to put in one Item Finder (try and make
room for another if you can.) I'm not sure how well
this array of trainers will do, having never played
one of these decks myself, but all my common sense
tells me that this is going to kill. Energy is still
highly suspect. You're going to have to play around
with your energy ratios to find what works well for
you. Try to keep it within the range of 20-24 total
energy.
On a related note, has anyone besides me noticed how
cute Omanyte is? On the card, anyway. He's looking at
you with those big eyes and waving his tentacles (or
whatever they are.) While I prefer Vulpix (especially
the 50 HP Brock's Vulpix) I still have to admit that
Omanyte is so cute it's toxic. "Omanyte! Omanyte!"
NEW PRODUCT IDEA: Using genetic manipulation, combine
Pikachu, Mew and Omanyte to create a Pokemon so cute
as to be deadly to look at unprotected. This would be
a HUGE seller in Japan.
