I promise, soon I will stop doing these
electric/psychic decks :-)
This deck hasn't failed you yet? Sorry, but it's hard
for me to believe...I wish people would tell me what
sort of opponents their deck does well
against...whether it's their friends, the guys at the
card shop, or tournament players... Anyway, I'll try
and help you with the speed part...
1) Okay, there's one thing I notice right away.
Alakazam needs work. Try putting in one more Alakazam
and two more each of the lower stages. Next, 4 Zapdos
is positively excessive. You need fighting resistance,
but not quite so much. And...BASIC ZAPDOS?? (checks
calendar) *How* many months has Fossil been out? We
could replace them with Fossils and cut the number,
but if you're having speed problems, why don't we just
start by cutting them altogether...Zapdos takes a LOT
of time to charge... Now then....ouch. Why don't we
just tear everything from there on out and start from
scratch? Get some good electric/psy basics in
there...more Buzz, Movie Mewtwo, possibly Jynx or
Mime...I'll leave Chansey in if you want (Swap fodder)
but get at least two of them if you intend to use them
for any real purpose. Lastly, beef up the Pikachu
family. That should be about it.
2) Trainers. You said you were having speed problems.
Well, you've got one Bill...and...and...Okay, I think
I see the problem here :-) You can start by cutting
the Full Heal, the Defender, the SER, and the Super
Potion. Maybe also think about scaling back the
regular Potions. Add some Oaks, Bills, CPU Search,
Switch, GOW--the whole shebang. Maybe also Scoop and
Center since you've got Alakazam and Chanseys. If we
need more space, we can cut just a bit of energy later
on.
3) In my opinion, it is NOT worth having DCE in here
just for Chansey. Therefore, I'm going to take it out.
I'm also going to work a little on narrowing the
electric/psychic ratio. Otherwise, looks OK. With good
card drawing and Retrieval, this deck can work on a
bit less energy than it might seem like to you.

21 Pokemon:
4 Abra
3 Kadabra
2 Alakazam
2 Electabuzz
3 Pikachu (Anything except Basic should be OK)
2 Raichu (Fossil! Again--that's FOSSIL!)
3 Mr. Mime
2 Chansey
16 Trainers:
2 Pokemon Center
3 Energy Removal
3 Bill
2 Oak
2 Computer Search
2 Energy Retrieval
2 Switch
2 GOW
23 Energy:
15 Electric Energy
8 Psychic Energy
***
I wasn't able to increase the number of psychic energy
as I would have liked. With good drawing plus
Retrieval--also given that Mime is the only one going
active most of the time--this shouldn't be a problem.
Good deck. Well, it's much better now, anyway. Four
Basic Zapdos? Gott im Himmel... [Spike starts babbling
incoherently in German until Vulpix, realizing his
master's plight, closes the window and releases him
from his trancelike state]
