Yeah, when I talked about kissing 20k yesterday, here’s something that can help you. An entirely free Stride skill that’s a +1 to you is already a good reason to run it. Its main problem is the Gold Paladin problem: the card advantage you get varies in quality, and if you hit something crap like a trigger you lose out. Only thing that prevents the call from being a total bust is that your Deletor G-Unitss can retire the called unit if it sucks. Vanish Delete’s token really as Eigorg’s pretty much never relied on for the insta-win these days.

As for the first skill, I wouldn’t bother with it. Unless you open with the new Stand Trigger, retiring your new starter along with it, the skill’s a -1 either way, and unless the opponent’s on reasonably high damage to justify a Delete (as in about 2-3 to make columns) it won’t be worth using. Or you Stride first and you never use the skill ever.

Still, complaints about it are petty and at least if you don’t need them, you don’t use them. Still solid at 4 in Deletors, as was the intent.

This card only does everything Deletors could have asked for.  With the advent of some of Deletors’ other units, Greyend’s cost to delete is laughably cheap.  If you do end up Striding, he gives you a free valuable unit to work with, whether you call the new unit as a beater or as retire fodder.  No matter what stage of the game you find yourself in, Greyend has a way to help you out.  Basically, this guy is the reason Deletors are relevant now.

Ok so heres the thing. This is the reason Deletors is thriving right now. What is Stride is basically Deletor’s number 1 question as most of the time you’d rather stick at this guy, delete for a measly cost of CB1 and retire 2. After that you attack with all your rears and restand this guy with Given. Got a new Given after drive check? Rinse and Repeat. Deletors is totally a good deck right now as this G3 allows you to mitigate you CB when you compare him to the old Grei who needs CB2.

Dont stride and keep whacking with your G3.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  So for today’s Card of the Day, we’re going to be looking at the new Grade 3 that the Deletors get, and I have to say, it’s impressive.  On Stride, you get to call the top card of your deck, and if it’s a Deletor, then you can give any Deletor +2000 Power and Force your opponent to Vanish Delete 2 card’s from their drop zone (though not many Deletors rely on Vanish Delete these days).  Combine this with any of the Deletor Strides’ Ability to easily delete the vanguard (usually at the cost of a Deletor), and Greyend essentially negates the main negativity that the deck has in field presence and hitting magic numbers.  The only drawback I can think of right now, of all things, is its name.  It’s actually supposed to be Greiend and not Greyend as another Deletor, Lie-down Deletor, Given, works with a Grade 3 “Grei”, so until Bushiroad confirms an errata of some sort, then it does take away a couple of points that it really deserves, but it’s still a really solid card.

Rating: 3/5 pre-Grei; 4/5 post-Grei
