Chaos Summoning Beast
– #SDSA-EN004

You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 “Uria, Lord of Searing Flames”, “Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder”, or “Raviel, Lord of Phantasms”, from your hand, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 “Fallen Paradise” from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of “Chaos Summoning Beast” once per turn.

We end the week with a card that helps cheat out the Sacred Beasts without a Tribute Summon needed while also searching one of their best cards, here’s Chaos Summoning Beast.

CSS is a Level 1 DARK Fiend with 0 ATK and DEF. Never expect good stats on Level 1s, though they do synergize with the archetype, and again I like DARK and Fiend. This card can be tributed to summon any of the Sacred Beasts from your hand. Sure it doesn’t summon from Deck, but it also lets you Sacred Beast attack and this doesn’t need to be Tribute Summoned like Dark Summoning Beast does, plus you should be able to get to your Sacred Beasts with no problem now and makes drawing them not that bad anymore. The second effect lets you banish this card from the graveyard to add Fallen Paradise from Deck to hand. Another great way to focus getting to Fallen Paradise while your other consistency cards can search other Sacred Beast related stuff. Both effects are hard once per turns, and I like you being able to use both effects in the same turn. It’s a good piece of support for Sacred Beasts that help when you can One for One this and search your Sacred Beasts with recent support and Dark Summoning Beast. It’s a necessary piece.

Advanced Rating: 4/5

Art: 5/5 It’s creepy and that’s part if the appeal.

Chaos Summoning Beast is a card desperately needed for Sacred Beasts.  0 attack and defense and a Fiend (I think that plays into multiple cards we looked at this week) as well as Dark, so these are all good things.  Tributing this card lets you Special Summon 1 Sacred Beast from your Hand ignoring the normal Summoning conditions.  Which is FANTASTIC.  Removing this card from play also lets you add a ‘Fallen Paradise’ from your Deck to your Hand.  This card is little on paper but does a couple of big things.  This is easily one of the best pieces of support in the Sacred Beast arsenal, and a very solid card to close out our week.

Art:  4.5/5  Looks like a little mini Armityle to me.  Which also makes sense.
