And from out of the depths comes Nick's Precon Recon back from the shadows with the speed of a Warp Spider. Today I will tackle "Bodyguard" one of the most pathetic looking precons I have seen. Uhh. Shudder. What is with wizards? Anyway onto the deck. Bodyguard 16 Grass Energy 12 Fighting Energy 4 Zubat 2 Golbat 4 Grimer 1 Muk 4 Koffing 2 Bulbasaur 3 Geodude 2 Graveler 1 Onix 4 Potion 2 Super Potion 1 Pokémon Center 2 Professor Oak First off they gave us one crappy deck. Excuse my language children but what is this? Crap that my 10 year old brother would laugh at. The only truly good pokemon besides Muk is Koffing. And the trainer mix? Laugh. Granted the main strategy in this is stall it pulls it off horribly. Drops… Zubat- Not much power, weak HP Golbat- Like having 1 and a half zubats!!! WOW (sarcasm) Bulbasaur- As much as I like his evolved forms he is just too weak Geodude- If you have luck like me you'll know why Graveler- No geodude Onix- You know you suck when a wingless zubat can beat you up. Potion- Crap in a bottle Super Potion- Crap in a bigger bottle Pokecenter- Awesome in a damage swap/venusaur deck but not here Ouch that was a lot of drops sorry about that folks. Adds/Keeps Muk- Since Muk is okay and you have one if you have this deck we will use him… his pokemon power might be useful we will add one more… Grimer- Want Muk? Need Grimer. Scyther!!!- One of my Favorites. Power HOUSE!! Hitmonchan- Another Favorite, awesome starter, all around great Hitmonlee- Bench hitter and death dealer extrodinaire Koffing- Status effect king…. EVIL… Bill- Draw things…. Oak- Could be the best trainer in the game. Energy Removal- Spoil plans Super Removal- Spoil even more plans. Item Finder- One more trainer of each Comp Search- Find what you need Kangaskhan- Kill off psykers So lets see what we have now… Nick's Bodyguards….v1.1 Energy 12 Grass 14 Fight 4 DCE Pokemon 2 Hitmonchan 2 Hitmonlee 3 Scyther 4 Koffing 3 Grimer 2 Muk Trainers 4 Bill 2 Oak 3 E.R. 2 S.E.R 1 Finder 2 Search All of these cards but Hitmonchan should be relatively easy to come by especially non holo second edition. Trade and shell out a couple bucks and you'll have a resonable powerful tourney class deck just for you. Strategy. Scyther + First turn Sword Dance + DCE= Badly hurt pokemon if not killed second turn Alakazam + Muk= No swap Not to mention all of that good beatdown stuff. This is Nick, the Mindblade, Millanes sighning off.
