Pokemon CotW No.3: (I'm getting better at this!)

Name:	Chansey
Type:	Basic Pokemon
Card #:	card 3 of 102
Rarity:	Rare - Holo
Color:	Colorless
HP:	120 HP
Weakness:	F
Resistance:	P -30
Retreat:	1
Species:	Egg
Level:	55
Pokemon #:	113
Attack:	[2] Scrunch () Flip coin. If heads, prevent all damage done to
Chansey during your opponent's next turn. (Any other effects of attacks still
happen.)
Attack:	[4] Double-edge (80) Chansey does 80 damage to itself.

I'd say this is one of the best cards in the set! I'm getting 4 of them ASAP!

The Chansey Wall Strategy: Set it up at the front, let it collect damage, and
retreat it when it has a bit of damage on it! Good for early game, might be
able to take 1 or 2 strong hits in lategame, gives you breathing room to build
Pokemon!

The attacks are good too. Scrunch helps with the Chansey Wall, making it last
about twice as long. Double-edge is good if you're looking at it for straight
attack. It can Double-edge once, absorb up to 30 more damage, and Double-edge
again! One double-edge usually knocks out 1 Pokemon.

Strengths:
-High HP, low retreat cost (+Scrunch)
-Psychic Resistance
-Biiiiig attack

Weaknesses:
-1 Submission or Seismic Toss knocks it flat (Fighting is bad!)
-only attack takes 4 Energy (which means a Energy Denial deck might give it
problems - if so just retreat it)
-no immunity to ailments (Poison, etc.) when scrunching

Combos:
-Chansey + Alakazam - Double-edge again and again! (If it survives)
-Chansey + Pokemon Center - Lots of healing! (Add Alakazam to dump DCs onto
this baby and save the others' energy)
-Chansey + Venusaur + Pokemon Center - Move some of that energy away from the
Chansey wall.
-Chansey + Defender - Make that Double-Edge a mite easier to survive
-Chansey + Double Colorless Energy - technically not a combo, but Chansey is
good with it (if you make her your main fighting force)

Rating:
Jonathan Ng: 9.5 (I pointed out three weaknesses, remember)
Zachary Price: 10.0
