Goody goody! :-)

Sabrina's Eye can't even get the card right!)Green Lean Fighting Machine Scyther!

Scyther

Pokemon No.: 123
Type: Grass
Evolution: Basic
Name: Scyther
Level: 25
HP: 70
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Fighting -30
Retreat Cost: 0
Attacks:
[G] Swords Dance () Next turn, this Scyther's Slash does twice damage.
[3] Slash (30)

Now that's power :-)

History:

Dark City's Kazz Gym Leader owns a Scyther. It's a mean lean fighting
machine capable of slicing and dicing (and making Julian fries). However,
ketchup will get it very mad (so don't pair it up with the fries :-) It's only
found in the Red Game, in the Safari Zone.

Strategy:

        What Strategy?

Seriously, with a retreat cost of 0, and an attack capable of potentially
dishing out 60 damage before weakness and resistance, this baby's one nasty
Pokemon to face. Do be careful, though. Even though it has 0 retreat, Paralyzation
might get it, Sleepiness might kill it. So don't rely on being able retreat _exactly_
when you need it.

It doesn't have the resistance problem that seems to plague Electabuzz and
Hitmonchan, though. But then again, it doesn't have a first turn attack like those two.
Use the fighting resistance. Use it heavily, especially against Haymaker.
Haymaker can't Buzz Scyther into oblivion as easily as it can Farfetch'd, the other Haymaker stopper.
Beware of Fire, which can turn this bug into a toasted bug. Also, Mr.
Mime gives it big problems. So stick something capable of stopping Mr. Mimes.

Strengths:
-Hitmonchan killer (gotta love that resistance)
-Gyarados killer (charge Slash up for a turn, Gust and unleash! It can even survive a Dragon Rage!)
-A lot of other things killer (60 damage kills a _lot_ of Pokemon!)

Weaknesses:
-Fire, and Mr. Mime. Mr. Mime's not so hard to circumvent, though (0 retreat).
-Paralyzation and Sleepiness! Confusion not as bad, because you can retreat first.

Combos:
Scyther + G + Double Colorless - 60 damage second turn! And only 3 cards! (Two Energy)

Kangaskhan

Name: Kangaskhan
Type: Basic Pokemon
Card #: card 5 of 64
Rarity: Rare - Holo
Color: Colorless
HP: 90 HP
Weakness: F
Resistance: P -30
Retreat: 3
Pokemon #: 115
Species: Parent
Level: 40
Attack: [1] Fetch
             Draw a card.
Attack: [4] Comet Punch (20x)
Flip 4 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the number
             of heads.

History:

Kangaskhan live in a very parent/kid culture. Kangaskhan will do whatever it takes to
protect their young. Pokemon Poaching have kept their numbers small, and the few herds
that remain are under strict protection in the Safari Zone. A human kid, Tommy, that was
accidentally abandoned by their parents in the Safari Zone was also taken care of by a
herd of Kangaskhan.

Strategy:

90 HP, and Fetch? Man oh man. Too bad it's weak to fighting. If you're in a pinch,
this is the Pokemon to use. Just grab cards until you get what you need. Then just
sac it (let it get KO'd.) Hopefully you'll have a very full bench. :-)

That's usually the strategy, but you can leave it on the bench until you get 4 Energy
onto it, too. Comet Punch is one mean monster.

The thing is though you'll need 4 Energy before you can start dishing. Even a
Staryu would have nearly killed it, a Charmander too (assuming Embers)... or it'll be
quite damaged, anyway. Four turns with no damaging attack does suck, even though
you'll probably be drawing stuff out.

Strengths:
-Easy to lay out and can take a beating
-Can potentially deal 80 damage

Weaknesses:
-Hitmonchans
-3 Retreat (that's nasty)
-the four turn lag time where you won't deal any damage at all means you usually put the Energy on the Bench.

Combos:
-It doesn't need combos. (No, seriously, I can't think of any combos.)
