It's the tenth 'week' of the CotW, yeah! This time, I'll reveal three cards (both Trainers): Name: Bill Type: Trainer Card #: card 91 of 102 Rarity: Common Text: Draw 2 cards. Name: Professor Oak Type: Trainer Card #: card 88 of 102 Rarity: Uncommon Text: Discard your hand, then draw 7 cards. Name: Impostor Professor Oak Type: Trainer Card #: card 73 of 102 Rarity: Rare Text: Your opponent shuffles his or her hand into his or her deck, then draws 7 cards. History: Bill is the biggest Pokemaniac known. He studies all sorts of Pokemon, and in the game, he got stuck as a Pokemon for a while. In the cartoon, he just got stuck in a costume ^_^. He was trying to search for a rare Pokemon by calling to it. Professor Oak is the most prolific studier of Pokemon. It was him who invented the original Pokedex ID card system. He once was a Pokemon Trainer, but has now retired, realizing that he doesn't have the energy to do these sorts of things. He leaves it up to the kids now. He does keep Ash's and Gary's extra Pokemon for them. A drinker of tea and a writer of poetry :-) The Impostor Professor Oak does not exist in the Pokemon Cartoon or the Game. (I don't think; or maybe I haven't watched enough episodes...) Strategy: The first two cards are basically draw cards. Not much strategy to Bill. Just show the trainer, put it in your discard pile, and draw 2 cards. But when you're running low on cards, it's a good idea to look at how many cards you have left before you decide to Bill. Oak, however requires more strategy. You usually want to play it when you've got few or useless cards in your hand so you'll draw good cards you can play. But sometimes you're really desperate and you need a single card - so you Oak, possibly dumping a potentially usfeul hand. Well, you win some, you lose some. Impostor requires a lot of strategy. Stall Decks use them, so that tells you how much strategy you need. Let me tell you this: there's better cards here and in future sets. Unless you want him to have a 7-card hand (he has too much hand or too little deck and hand) you generally don't want him to get free cards. Unless he's holding a Gyarados with a Magikarp he just put out on the front, of course :-) But then you should be having a Hitmonchan with 3 Energy... :-) Combos: (Hey, who said you needed strategy with Bill?) Computer Search for Oak: hey, you're discarding anyway. Bill with Pokedex: Look at the cards, get the ones you need, and grab them with Bill. But wait, you're trading two cards for two cards...
