That’s right guys, Poster of Masaki. The single most broken card in this game, and your favorite card. So, I actually did try to make this card work. I thought about it for a couple minutes before I started typing this out, really I did. And I came up with one hypothetical situation in which I found it useful: You are running a Renji deck in a Grand Fisher-centric meta. You go first and play Ichigo – Smirking. You deplete Ichigo and discard Zangetsu from your hand to pay for your guardian’s effect. Now grab the Zangetsu with Smirking’s effect, and search your deck for Poster of Masaki and attach it to Ichigo. Now you have a 4/4/4, and since you’re opponent is likely to be playing Grand Fisher, you’ll lose two less if he decides to kill Ichigo! Or, you know, that Poster of Masaki/Hollow Bait OTK. But no one will ever think of that, anyway. Competitive – 1/5 – Would be 2/5 if Grand Fisher was meta. Too bad, huh? Casual – 1/5 – Because people still don’t play Fisher casually. Art – 5/5 – How could you say no? Monday – Kon!?

Poster of Masaki, easily the worst card in the entire game. Its effect allows you to not take power damage when the attached character looses a battle to a hollow. Plus it can only be attached to a Kurosaki family member. Which means you have to have a kurosaki family memeber to attach it to, your opponent must be using a hollow to attack, and you must block and loose to use this cards effect. Nothing good usually comes from losing battles. The only way I could see using this card is if a Soul-reaper Isshin who's effect is 'Isshin gets +10 to all stats while poster of masaki is attached' comes out. Or if a card that allows you to give all your opponents characters the hollow trait, and makes it so you can block any stat, don't deplete to block, and your characters are not discarded when they loose a battle.
