Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon

Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon – #PHRA-EN041

3 Level 5 monsters – This Xyz Summoned card cannot be destroyed by card effects. You can detach 1 material from this card; this card gains ATK equal to the total original ATK of all other monsters on the field, then, if this card has a DARK Xyz Monster as material, negate the effects of all other face-up monsters on the field. After this effect resolves, you cannot declare attacks with other monsters for the rest of this turn. You can only use this effect of “Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon” once per turn.

Hello Pojo Fans,

Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon wraps it up for the week, and likely will never be summoned correctly.

3 Level 5 monsters is too many hoops to jump through, so we’ll go with Rank-Up Magic Force or Launch, or Raider’s Knight to summon it. The Rank-Up cards are good, but Raider’s Knight is more of a streamlined way of getting to Arc Rebellion since it will only cost you one detach and you’ll still have one material and Raider’s then attached to Arc Rebellion, giving you material for the boost of ATK and effect monster negation. More monsters = more ATK, and while having that DARK Xyz attached will counter any monsters trying to interfere with Arc Rebellion, it is worth noting that even without the DARK Xyz material you can still OTK with Arc Rebellion. It still has card effect destruction protection and 3000ATK without materials, which helps with Raider’s Knight’s downside.

If you can make Raider’s Knight you should be running Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon alongside it. It is too good even if you can only attack with Arc Rebellion when you use its effect.

We end the week off with the monster you’re most likely summoning off of Raider’s Knight or some of the PK/RR RUMs now, Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon.

Arc Rebellion is a Rank 5 DARK Dragon with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF. Great stats for Rank 5, DARK is great once again and this time we got one of the best types in the game being Dragon to use. The regular summoning requirements are 3 Level 5 monsters, which while it might not be hard, you’re likely preferring to Rank-Up into this. If it was Xyz Summoned, it cannot be destroyed by card effects, immediately disregarding the downside we saw on Raider’s Knight. You can detach a material from this card to have it gain ATK equal to the original ATK of all other monsters on the field and then if this card has a DARK Xyz Monster as material, you negate the effects of all other face-up monsters on the field, then after you boost attack and maybe negate effects, you can only attack with this for the rest of the turn. So this can easily get up to some insane numbers for ATK while also blanket negating the opponent’s board, and that is a permanent change, so the opponent loses all their effects. You do lose your effects as well, so either make sure they aren’t relevant effects you’re losing or just detach the DARK Xyz from this card so the negation doesn’t happen since it checks after you detached the material for cost. Even if you do negate your board and lose some good effects, it might not matter if you get an attack through with this since it’ll likely end the game. If somehow it doesn’t, you can detach again the next turn to boost the ATK even higher since the stat boost doesn’t go away either, but again you should only need this once, so it being a hard once per turn shouldn’t even matter. Arc Rebellion is a very powerful game ending card that now any DARK Rank 4 Deck can access if they needed, especially Raidraptors and Phantom Knights. It’s a great game ender and a nice close to the week, though if you do Rank-Up the original Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, you might still prefer Dark Requiem.

Advanced Rating: 4/5

Art: 4.5/5 Dark Rebellion has a lot of Raidraptor and PK parts on him now.
