Team Rating

Hello, I have been looking at your team rates and I am very
impressed.  I have been into pokémon for a while now, and I was hoping that you could take a look at my team.  Could you please not change any pokémon in the process? Thank you for your consideration and time.

Typhlosion@Miracleberry
Sunny Day/Rest
Flamethrower
Earthquake
Thunderpunch

Standard starter.  Takes out most common starters.  I am considering taking out sunny day for rest, and you will see why later.

Lanturn@Brightpowder
Rain Dance
Thunder
Surf
Thunderwave

I know it is reluctant to have a raindancer and a sunnydayer on the same team, that is why I might change sunny day on Typhlosion for rest.  Lanturn seems self-explanatory, first I paralyze, then rain dance, and attack.  STAB and rain dance is just evil.  Bright powder for annoyance.

Tyranitar@Leftovers
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Fire Blast
Ice Beam/Crunch/Thunderbolt

I prefer rock slide over ancient power because it is more
powerful.  Fire blast for Steelixes and its grass weakness.  I am having a bit of a problem for the last slot.  I am thinking of thunderbolt, but I think it is also very effective to use ice beam.   But, crunch with STAB is good.  But after looking at all the psychic  pokémon, I realized that most of them have a weaker defense than  special defense, so this is really a coin flip.

Kingdra@Mint Berry
Surf
Ice Beam
Dragon Breath/Double Team
Rest

Since Kingdra and Lanturn are not weak to electricity or grass, I think it is acceptable to have both on the same team.  Surf and ice beam are pretty much needed; rest is for support.  Dragon breath only because it gets STAB and paralysis after I have used my mint berry.  Double team would help while I am sleeping also, and it will encourage hazers/psuedo hazers to come out.  Most common
hazers/psuedo hazers are weak to ice, so ice beam will leave a big chunk in their HP.  But, dragon breath would help against other Kingdras, which may I add are becoming very common.

Machamp@Scope Lense
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Cross Chop
Fire Blast/Focus Energy/Light Screen

Many possibilities for the last slot.  Fire blast is for sweepage; although Tyranitar is a good sweeper.  Focus energy will make cross chop a critical hit 50% of the time, which of course is good.  Light screen would be for more support on my team, encouraging physical attacks, although my team has a slight weakness to physical attacks.  But hey, every team has a weakness here are there, right?

Mewtwo@Kings Rock
Psychic
Recover
Ice Beam
HP Dark

I know you have banned him, I know you hate him, fear him, and
everything in between.  I am so sorry for using him, but I really have no choice.  My friends are such sharkers, they have electrodes with SPORE, CRUNCH, EARTHQUAKE, and BLIZZARD.  Luckily for me, my Mewtwo and Tyranitar are max stat.  (They took FOREVOR to get)At least with them I have a chance.  In tourneys, I switch Mewtwo out, and put in Alakasam with thunderwave, seismic toss, psychic, and recover.  Now back to Mewtwo- Everything is pretty much standard, ice beam for other Tyranitars.  I was lucky enough to get HP Dark on it.
It has the speed, and with kings rock, it has the power.

Once again, thank you, and I hope I can improve upon my team.

Another day, another dollar. Of course, this is my only job so my dollars are imaginary ^_^.

Ahem, yah, let's go to your team:

Typhlosion: well, he isn't that bad as a starter, but Try Lanturn instead as the starter. The rain dancing version is okay, and against cloyster, it'll do. add Toxic over thunder wave possibly to handle blissey.

Lanturn~Leftovers~(Surf)(Rain Dance)(Thunder)(Thunder Wave/Toxic)

Typhlosion: i love the guy, but he lacks in great tm capability, unlike it's previous Fire Starter(Charizard btw.).sunny day and fire blast work great, but t-punch doesn't work that well agains waters, your only worry . So what you should do it to change that to Roar to roar them away. whoo ha. Earthquake CAn stay, but i have found that Dynamic Punch helps a lot more by Absolutly  destroying Snorlax, Tyranitar, and Blissey. Your only weakness there is a starmie, but you should jsut switch out anyways.

Typhlosion~Leftovers~(Fire Blast)(Sunny Day)(Roar)(Earthquake/Dynamic Punch)

Kingdra: yes, they have oposite weaknesses, but Blissey hurts this team too much. and since you have an "ahem" electrode problem, use one of my favorite pogey's, Quagsire. Yes, quagsire doesn't look powerfull, but he is. It's a ground that can handle Surf and Blizzard quite easlily and can pwn the demented blissey with ease. Curse is great with it, and along with Rest and Earthquake it's great. the last move is either Surf(handle other grounds), Ice Beam(pwns switch grass) or Ancient Power(dai Skarmory and Zapdos. I prefer AP, but it's your choice. For rest, mint berry owns.

Quagsire~Mint Berry~(Curse)(Earthquake)(Rest)(Ice Beam/ Surf /Ancient Power)

Tyranitar: your set works, and use Thunderbolt to hurt those stupid starmie's on the switch.

Tyranitar~Leftovers~(Earthquake)(Rock Slide)(Fire Blast)(Thunderbolt)

Machamp: despite what people think, he needs lefties more than scope lens. use leftovers and use Fire blast for the last spot:

Machamp~Leftovers~(Cross Chop)(Earthquake)(Rock Slide)(Fire Blast)

Mewtwo: i ultimately hate him, as his only purpose is to look like he is actually good, which he is but he's as fruity as my seventh grade math teacher. Replce him with a spiker Forretress. Spike works well here, and explosion is a must. Hidden Power: Bug for stab and Reflect will help to block attacks, though curse is also good. Use one or the other. somethign else the electrode can't handle.

Forretress~Leftovers~(Curse/Reflect)(Spikes)(Explosion)(HP:Bug)

not a bad team overall, needed some poke work, but good job from what you had already. Good luck against those electrode.
