Clown Master's Pokemon GBA Team Garage

Team Fix - Jimmy Tigers Team
April 13
, 2005

Best team I've fixed so far, IMO. This shouldn't have near as many fixes. My one major comment is that Breloom should never be a Special/Mixed Sweeper. He sucks in that area. On to the fixes:

Name:  Espeon

Type(s):  Psychic

Gender:  Male

Nature:  Timid

Ability:  Synchronize

Item:  Petaya Berry

Move Set:

Psychic

Bite

HP Fire

Morning Sun

Never use Bite outside of Haxorz Pokémon (and only then on special cases). Maybe Calm Mind/Substitute instead of Morning Sun, but that is just preference. Also, either of those moves could go instead of HP[Fire]. I'm adding Calm Mind instead of Bite, but other moves could work. Just get rid of Bite. Then the EVs will be added like always as well:

Espeon@ Petaya Berry/Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 200 SAtk / 252 Spd / 56 HP
Timid Nature (+Spd -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Psychic
- Morning Sun / Substitute

Name: Umbreon

Type(s):  Dark

Gender:  Female

Nature:  Bold

Ability:  Synchronize

Item:  Leftovers

Move Set:

Calm Mind

Reflect

Rest

Faint Attack

That is a messed up Tank set. Not to insult or anything, but I tested it and it didn't work out at all. Reflect sux altogether on it. Rest is useless as it gets OHKO'd by Metagross(or anything tanked up. Damn you Aero!). Tanking Umby rarely uses an attacking move either because if it's the last remaining Pokémon, you're screwed anyway because you'll usually be facing down two enemies in Double Battle. Calm Mind can work, but rarely does. You have the Nature correct, though. Wish is a great replacement for Rest. That way, you can Wish, then switch to something that needs a quick heal, then if need be, switch back. Substitute is great, 98 HP Subs is nothing to scoff at. Mean Look and Baton Pass are good to Trap with, but not needed really. The last two moves are filler. I use Toxic and Baton Pass. That passes subs and if you use Mean look, you have the foe trapped and facing down a Pokémon with a sub(that has taken some damage. You want the speed IV to be 0 so it will take damage on Umby's defences which are higher than the other's normally). Here is the set:

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 244 HP / 176 Def / 88 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)/ Bold Nature (+Def -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Mean Look / Toxic
- Substitute
- Wish

Name: Ninjask

Type(s):  Bug/Flying

Gender:  Female

Nature:  Impish

Ability:  Speed Boost

Item: Liechi Berry

Move Set:

Swords Dance

Endure

Silver Wind

Baton Pass

Don't you think that having Liechi and Swords Dance is a bit redundant? Silver Wind is useless because of the low rate of Stat Increase, and if you have him left as the only Pokémon, you're screwed anyways. Endure sux on him too. Sanstream will destroy him quickly. Give him Lefties. Sub and Protect is a great way to get his stats up. If they don't attack you, use Swords Dance and after they break the sub (usually in One Hit), Protect to get HP Back from Lefties, then Sub again. Repeat until his Speed it maxed. Here is the set:

Ninjask@ Leftovers

Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Def / 124 SDef

Impish Nature (+Def -SAtk)
- Substitute

- Swords Dance

- Baton Pass
- Protect

Name:  Togetic

Type(s):  Normal/Flying

Gender:  Female

Nature:  Modest

Ability:  Serene Grace

Item:  King's Rock

Move Set:

Fire Blast

Psychic

Magical Leaf

Water Pulse

This set is fine other than Fire Blast. Drop it for Calm Mind. Get your SDef up while making your SAtk skyrocket. Since Togetic's SDef is so low, I think this would work out well. King's Rock Sux. Petaya or Leftovers. Maybe Salac, but IDK Move set:

Togetic@ Leftovers
Trait: Serence Grace
EVs: 100 SAtk / 252 SDef / 156Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Magical Leaf
- Water Pulse
- Psychic

Name:  Golduck

Type(s):  Water

Gender:  Male

Nature:  Adamant

Ability:  Cloud Nine

Item:  Liechi Berry

Move Set:

Psych Up

Aerial Ace

Brick Break

HP Ground

Golduck isn't really the best Physcial Sweeper, but I admire the originality. Drop Psych Up. After they get their stats up, by the time you copy them, you'll be dead. Good replacements are Hypnosis, Substitute, and Refresh. Hypnosis would seldom be used to catch them off guard. Refresh would be used for obvious reasons and sub the same. Focus Punch/Dynamic Punch> Brick Break because you have nothing to Kill Blissy. And BB won't OHKO it. Return>AA because Golduck gets no STAB from it. HP: Ground can work, but I perfer HP:Rock. Here is the moveset:

Golduck@ Liechi Berry
Ability: Cloud Nine

EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP(Def)
Adament Nature (+Atk -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Focus Punch / Dynamic Punch
- Hidden Power [Rock/Gound]
- Return

Name:  Breloom

Type(s):  Grass/Fighting

Gender:  Female

Nature: Adamant

Ability: Effect Spore

Item:  Leftovers

Move Set:

Mach Punch

Spore

Giga Drain

HP Ghost

Like I said at the beginning, Mixed Breloom sux. The set other than that is good. Drop Giga Drain for Sub and HP:Ghost for Focus Punch. I prefer Swords Dance instead of Mach Punch, but that's me. Here's the set:

Breloom@ Leftovers / Salac Berry
Trait: Effect Spore
EVs: 204 Atk / 252 Spd / 52 Def
Adament Nature (+Atk -SAtk) / Jolly Nature (+Spd -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Mach Punch/ Swords Dance

Thanks for your time.
