lately people have been sayin all of the gym haymakers are better and all but some are missing the point of these decks. HAYMAKERS ARE ALL ABOUT SPEED.

 

 

jungle vs. tr scyther: first of all u need grass nrgy to attack w/ tr scyther. Most people wont want 2 use up room 4 trainers 2 put in 4 or 5 leafs. And double image relies on a coin flip and does no damage. And scyther has the free retreat. that is y most people use him (along w/ resistance) also u dont need any type o nrgy he is easier 2 power up + more versitile. round 1: old

 

 

base hitmonchan vs tr hitmonchan: once again haymakers r 4 speed hitmonchan will (not including resistances smokescreen, etc.) no matter what will do damage plus counter if successful the from the oppentents perspective hmmmmmm ill do 20 and hell do 40 2 me if i attack what am i gonna do? and it also relies on coin flips. round 2: old

 

 

base electabuzz vs surges electabuzz: unless the deck is built around oaking to put lightning nrgy in the discard pile usually there wont be nrgy in the discard pile on turn 1. SPEED IS HAYMAKER. Also he 2 revoles around coin flips (so does base but not as drastically) Base version is more reliable i.m.o. round 3: old
