Hi, I was just wanting to
comment on Snowball's strategy about using Erika's Oddish's (LV 12) Pokemon
Power with Energy Transfer to move any energy to other Pokemon. I believe this
wouldn't work. Heres why:
Photosynthesis: All Energy cards attached to
Erika's Oddish provide Grass Energy instead of their usual type. This Power
works even while Erika's Oddish is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
Energy Trans: As often as you like during your
turn (before you attack), you may take 1 Grass Energy card attached to 1 of
your Pokemon and attached it to a different one. This Power can't be used if
Venusaur is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
Now, Photosynthesis caused all attached energy
cards to provide Grass energy, but it is still that same Energy card. Heres an
example: Usually, an attached Fire Energy card provides Fire Energy, but when
on Oddish, it provides Grass Energy. Even though, it is still a Fire Energy
Card.
The problem is, Energy Trans
only lets you move Grass Energy CARDS, meaning that a Fire Energy card
providing Grass Energy to Oddish is still a Fire Energy CARD, which Energy
Trans cannot move. You just have to look at the text carefully.
