These are my takes on some of the most leathal Gym Challenge cards out
there.

Sabrina's Alakazam-
I'm pretty sure most of you people know that this is one of the best Psi
Pokemon out there.  Just think, mega burn first turn for a K.O. and then
psylink a nice synchronize from a benched Sabrina's Abra for some more good
damage.  Or maybe a good pendulum slow from a Sabrina's Hypno.  Pretty neat
huh?  Well there is one drawback, you have to get him into play quickly
enough to destroy your opponent.  But that shouldn't be a problem with some
nice pokemon breeders.  You could play like a raindance (only Psylink) and
oak 5 times on the first turn to get what you want.:)

Next is Rocket's Zapdos
This guy is gonna change lightning decks forever!  1 electric energy allows
you to do 20 damage and retreive and energy too.  Then, when you get 4
energies on him you throw down a defender and get a nice 70 attack in.  Even
if he does damage to himself with defender the damage is halfed at least.
And this isn't the only combo either.  If you people want to know what to do
with those lousy Lt. Surge cards then this is it.  Say you have a heavily
damaged rocket's Zapdos and you want to get him out of the arena.  Well you
could use a Lt. Surge and put out an electabuzz and then Mr. Fuji the Zapdos
into your deck!!  How's that for fun!

Erica's Venusaur is also one tough cookie.
Now alot of people loook at the poor dear and think to themselves, yuck!  I
look at it and say Yippee!  Finally a good grass pokemon that can do bench
damage!  That wide solarbeam is quite an attack.  It still does 60 damage, it
just moves it around a bit.  You could use this as a way to knock out 3 of
your opponent's pokemon over a period of 2-3 turns.  And since he has a good
90 HP this guy is gonna stick around for awile.  And when he is about to kick
the bucket you can pay the small 2 retreat and Mr. Fuji him back into your
deck.

Now we have Koga's Arbok and Koga's Muk
These two are pretty cool even if the Arbok has to poison itself to be an
effective attacker.  Besides, he autimatically poisons the enemy if he is
posoned.  Now the muk is a very evil thing to use.  Just think about
combining Dark Muk's Pokemon Power with Koaga's Muk's PP.  Koga's Muk's PP
says that if an attack damages him then you flip a coin and on heads you can
discard an energy attached to the defending pokemon.  This is a nice combo to
drool over is it not?  not to mention the fairly solid attack:  Sludge
Whirlpool.  These 2 guys are pretty solid in my opinion.

Next is GIOVANNI'S PERSIAN!!!
Just Kidding.

Actually I think that this is all that is worthy of this article.  Now
remember, these are just my opinions but feel free to send gripes complaints
and agreements to NatsumeGengar@cs.com
