Hi my name is Enrique and this is my first article on the Pojo. The
article regards the Pokémon lawsuit. I found the full story on the New York
Post Online at http://www.nypost.com/news/14579.htm
and I can't believe two parents and 2 kids that used to love Pokémon are the
people suing Wizards and Nintendo! They are suing because they say taking
chances with buying a whole bunch of boosters for rare cards is gambling and
that you can sell them for anything like $100 after you get one. First of
all if that's worth suing for, they would of sued makers of baseball cards
for that, think about it you'll never know what players you get in baseball
card packs and if it's rare you can sell them for alot. What I'm most
outraged is that the kids are protesting! The kids are saying "I was forced
to empty my piggy bank to get rare cards and that's like gambling", You are
not forced to use your money for rare cards you only do it if you want. I'm
sure those kids don't even know what gambling means. I bet anything that it
was the parent's that brainwashed them saying pokémon cards are bad. Now
that I think about it this reminds me of some news stories of people hating
pokémon. Like one for example, A whole bunch of kids were outside a comic
shop with signs protesting against pokémon. Finally after a while the store
owner went out and gave up saying they won't sell anymore pokémon boosters
for the rest of the day. I can't believe people want to ruin other people's
hobbies by taking the fun out of it.
