Okay, I have never actually posted anything here, but, I
come at least
twice a week , if not more to the Pojo, and have come up with a system for
rating pokemon.
Please, realize that this is a test version, and I am aware
it needs some
major fixes.
The calculation is Total Damage/Total Energy for attacks +
1/4 of HP+ 5 for
pokemon Power- Retreat Cost.
Unfortunately, there are some major flaws.
1. I'm not sure if the consistency is right. I originally had it at 1/2 health,
but certain Pokemon were getting to large or too small bonuses.
2. There is currently no way, with this system to measure discarding energy,
attacks that do no damage, coin flips and to rate the different Pokemon Powers.
3. Super Fang, Mirror Move and Metronome are very difficult to calculate.
So, I would appreciate anyone suggestions on how to improve
this system.
Please, no e-mail's saying things like "You Suck, my favorite pokemon is so
low", or anything like that. Also, this is not actually measuring their
effectiveness in decks and combos, it is a simple rating system.
