Hi there everyone!  I'm here today to write about the more commonly used
themes or strategeys.  Here we go:

1.HAYMAKER-  Ahh the haymaker.  I used to use this deck with hitmonchan and
so on but i decided to switch after fossil came out.  Only BBP (big basic
pokémon) that attack for 1 NRG and have a good second attack, as well as at
least 70 HP.   Commonly used types are fighting(hitmonchan, SOMETIMES
aerodactyle), electric(electabuzz), fire(F magmar), colorless(chansey,
kangaskhan, wigglytuff) and grass(scyther, SOMETIMES muk).
Trainers: anything that draws cards, GOW, scoop-up, plus power, ER, SER

2. RAINDANCE- Another one of the big 3.  Raindancers use blastoise power to
quickly do heavy damage.  Gyrados used to be the most popular compliment to
toise untill fossil came out. Now its mostly articuno and lapras leading the
attacks.
Trainers: breeders, bills, oaks, GOW, CPU search, itemfinder

3. DAMAGE SWAP- The stall.  Sometimes used without NRG's. IMO, this deck
should only be used by experianced players because of all the strategy and
descision you have to make.  Alakazams and chanseys are a must along with
mr. mimes.  MP mewtwo and likitung are sometimes used.
Trainers: breeders, gambler, ER, SER, scoop-up, pokécentre, mr. fugi, NGR
(night garbage retreival)

4. TURBOTUFF- A great deck to use. Personally, i love it to death (i play
one with muk).  Fill your bench and do 60 damage for ONLY 3 NRG!  Jiggly and
wiggly are solid pokémon that can stall or attack.  Combine with another
solid stage one with a corresponding BBP and you have yourself a tourny
worthy deck.  Any type can be used to help 'tuff as long as the basics have
good HP and can fight for themselves.  Muk, charmeleon, dewgong, or
raichu(base) are good choices.
Trainers- bill, oak, CPU search, GOW, itemfinder, challenge!

5. InSaNiTy- Basically a haymaker with only 8 pokémon(F magmar, scyther).
Trainers: SEE HAYMAKER

6. Potpourri- Another haymaker variant that tries to cover weaknesses with
slpashable pokémon.  Mr. mime, MP mewtwo, hitmonchan, electabuzz, F magmar,
kangaskhan.
Trainers: lass, SEE HAYMAKER

7. Speedrill- Same idea as a raindance.  Try to get beedrill out ASAP.
Pokémon with 0 HP are ideal like scyther to quickly switch before a pokémon
is about to get KO'ed.  Status effects are also key to winning.
Trainers: breeders, bill, oak, CPU search, itemfinder, GOW

8. NRG TRANS- Use venusaur to circulate the NRG around and heal injured
fighters.  Common sights include venusaur, scyther, pinser, exceggutor and
venomoth.
Trainers: breeder, pokécentre, bill, oak, CPU search, itemfinder, GOW

9. AEROMEW- Shut down the opposition by not allowing any evolutions.
Aerodactyle's pokémon power and mew's de-evolution beam are keys to winning.
Combine with good basics like scyther, MP mewtwo, ditto and 'buzz.
NOTE*** DO NOT use mr. mime. Due to weak attacks by weak basics, mr. mime
can easily be KO'ed.
Trainers: SEE HAYMAKER

Sorry if i missed anything, i'm kinda tired.
