*ahem*
Hey, everyone. Satoshi again. I've been reading some of the older TCG
startegies, and got caught up in one that said something like "help the
little kids. They don't know what they're doing."
MMmmkay, that is SOOOO not true.

1-Little Kids and Trading
Okay, true that trading with a little kid can be frusterating, but they
know a lot more than some of the articles have given out. Or, they think
they do, anyway. I just reecently got a 9-card promo NEO set, thinking I
could get some good trades with newly released japanese cards. Sure enough,
I got the last blastpise I needed for my raindance deck. I traded the water
family. Some of you may be thinking, "bad move." Nope. I can't play 'em,
they're japanese. So I trade for cards I can play. Right after this
transaction, the kid yells out, "no trade backs!!!!" Like he ripped me off
or something. See, the littler kids don't need our help anymore.

2- Little Kids and Playing
That same day, I was waiting for the pokemon league to start, and was
talking with someone who had just come out of the 9:00. We started talking,
and he asked what badges I had. I replied "oh, I don't have any yet. I just
started coming to the league." He then gives me this "I'm better than you
'cause I have a piece of plastic" smirk and a smug little snort. I swear, I
felt like whipping out my raindance deck and creaming the smug little punk.
See, I may have just started going to the league, but I had already played
in a load of toyurnamnets at my favorite hobby store, and placed high in
most of them. And since this place doesn't have tournaments every week, I go
to the league, just to keep playing.

Wizards has done a fine job marketing the game. They say it is for players
10+, yet they hold huge tournaments, FOR THE LITTLE KIDS THAT AREN'T
SUPPOSED TO PLAY THE GAME!!! However, the little kids' hold on pikachu and
compnay won't last long. I can't wait for Rocket and Gym to come out, 'cause
it's either gonna be "learn the rules or don't play" with those cards.
Okay, I'm done for now. I gotta get back to the shop. Later, everyone.
