When I first got the League Promo Arcanine from the Pokemon league at
Toys'r'us on Saturday March 4,I thought something I could do with him...
Having my cards there with me at the league I created a new Archetype!
ARCANINE'S SWAP-DAT-DAMAGE AND DO SOME SMACKAGE

Pokemon

4 Growlithe(ummm look down)
3 League Promo Arcanine(main power)
4 Abra(pathetic,yet vital)
3 Kadabra(can attack for 50 or 20,or possibly 100,but needed for evolving)
2 Alakazam(move counters to Arcanine)
2 Chansey(stall,also kamikazes,move counters to canine)


Trainers

4 Energy Removal(duh!)
4 Pokemon center(use flames of rage,then this and repeat)
3 Bill (2 cards,hmmm,one word...GOOD)
3 Computer Search (get any card I need)
2 Gust of Wind (destroy that blastoise while you can)
2 Professor Oak (get rid of a crappy hand for a new hand)

Energy

16 Fire Energy(for canine)
8 Psychic Energy(not really needed,for Chansey or Kadabra)



Oh I almost Forgot,heres a small spoiler of Aracanine from the league:

Arcanine-stage 1:evolves from Growlithe
70 HP
2-Quick attack:10+
Flip a coin,if heads this attack does does 10 damage plus 20 more damage,if
tails,this attack does 10 damage

RR-Flames of Rage:40+
Discard 2 fire energy attached to Arcanine in order to use this attack. This
attack does 40 damage plus 10 more for each damage counter attached to
Arcanine.

Weakness:Water
Resistance:none
Retreat cost:1


If you ask me,that attack sounds pretty powerful! Get 6 counters on Arcanine
and unleash Flames of Rage to do a massive 100 damage!!!

Strategy:
Start off with a Chansey stalling,while getting an Alakazam on bench with
Arcanine also.
Once Arcanine has 2 fire energy on him,use double edge with chansey to take
damage,then forward counters to Canine from Chansey by using Damage
Swap,then send out Arcanine to do Massive damage!
<b>Note</b>:Only move counters on Arcanine equal to do enough damage to know
out opponents pokemon. Also use quick attack on Scythers and such!Venusaur
is another story!
