Hello everyone! It's me again! This time I'm addressing an issue I've seen
a lot lately - parents who tell they're kids what to do with they're own
cards. Here's an example : I was at my local mall where Planet X, our local
Pokemon card shop, was having a big trade day to hype up sales. I was there
with my friend David. We where in line at PX to get some boosters where we
met this little girl and her dad who wanted to trade. So then we showed
each other our cards and finally David was going to trade his
mint-condition Poliwrath for her non-mint Ninetails (don't worry he had two
Poliwrath). She was like "Okay" but then her dad goes "Wait honey you
already have him". She says "No that's Poliwhirl". Then he says "Honey
don't trade you might find someone else who will give a better deal (lol).
Your not old enough to know a good trade." So then he left. That was a
great trade for her and her dad forced her to not trade. So here's my
point. PARENTS : Don't force your kids to not trade or trade against their
will! If they get a bad trade then they'll learn the hard way how to trade!
Remember, they're not your cards! Thank you.
