HOwdy- I'm a pokemon card player/collector/hustler/and rip-off
artist:-)

I would like to b**ch about somethings that have been bugging me.

    Here we go...

Parents that are overprotective sucks. <that's the shortest you'll
hear anyone rant about this matter>
What bugs me more is that some kids just refuse to understand that
not EVERYONE is trying to rip them off.
THis goes back to their parents... bad influence
Look up the dang price guide and be reasonable.
This one kid wanted to trade his Kangaskhan...
"what do you want?" I said
"I don't know- what do you have?"
"Ok" -- I proceeded to pull out all my non-holo rares that I wanted
to trade <his was also non-holo>
"Do you want a Dragonite?" I said
He looks at it for a while... **geez it's just a non holo!**
    "hang on..."
---runs to his mom... she was too busy arguing with some LITTLE girl
about Ditto's transform--- so she coudn't respond
"it costs the same man" I said
"so do you want to trade it or not" I said again
    "....No"---
    What a loser

    that was fun--
    Here's another one
I was playing this kid he had Alakazam active and Mime on bench
Alakazam had forty damage- his turn
"I'll damage swap forty to Mr. Mime <at once> so the damage GOES
WAY" and he throws counters back in his box
    "No..."I explained it
    Later on during that game
after his mom had a talk with him... <in the middle of a game> he
came back
    "where's my hand?"------
oh here it is -- he picks up two cards from the discard pile!
after two turns he found his cards in his pockets and said ..oops
What an idiot- i beat him anyway
--- I'm never playing this guy again

So what's the point of all this--- some kids are just not ready for
Pokemon---- <but it's a kid's game>.... no- it's not.
It's for PEOPLE - including CHILDREN who has enough KNOWLEDGE or has
the POTENTIAL to LEARN the CONCEPT of the game- and the trades.
Don't rant about how kids are stupid- we've got the idea guys
*hypocrite*
This all goes back to their parents....
They should know their children's potential- and if they're not
capable of learning the game and learning the trades- don't take them
places--- they ruin it for everyone else.
Bottom line- PARENTS- let them enjoy it- this mean let them LEARN it
<both concepts of playing and trading> and save your young children the
embarassment of being made fun of on Pojo.

and if You're not down with that- I've GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA...

<S.I.>      didn't want to get in trouble
;-)
