EFFECTS OF EXPANSIONS

Hi Everyone, Scott im writing this and i don't know if you'd like to post this but ill write it anyway.

Ok im gonna talk about all the expansions and what's come out of them from base to fossil around January of last year tcg hit the stores with base set coming out. Base cards are still widely used in games today. When it first hit starter sets were getting bought steady and fire and fighting was widely used. Then some people with stratagy made what is now known as rain dance a very good deck especially with all that fire running around, haymaker also came out hitmochan farfetched electabuzz who was really good against rain dance. Stall decks with alakazam and chansey were being played also but haymaker was still number one and unfortuneatly still is.
When jungle hit the seen players got a new look at stratagy. Mr. Mime was a fave among players to shut down big cards. Scyther and wigglytuff fit right in with the dreaded haymaker, but at least a new energy was being used. Venusaur had some friends he could use scyther and pinsire finally gave grass good basics. Also effects deck came in to try and shut down hay with vileplume venomoth etc, with rain being widely played fire was diminished and grass had an upper edge. Although fire got what i think is one of their best cards still in rapidash, even raindance cant harm him if your lucky with agility. Speking of agility fearow was also used a little. Colorless pokemon got what it needed attackers. Kangaskhan, Wigllytuff, Tauros, Persian, lickitung, clefable they all fit in every deck most rsistent to psy which was not somethig all that good since psy was mostly reduced to staling still, but they were weak to fighting which reduced their play tremendously because of hitmochan. !
Lighning and fightning never got that much except jolteon but either is still barely used alone.
Fossil hit the seens along with some movie promos next and was my favorite expansion. Why you ask because most of its cards rely on stratagy yes thast right no more brute force like hay or luck but stratagy. Its holos had cards built around them in deck aerodactyl and muk to shut down cards, moltres to run your opponent out of cards, ditto and magmar fit nicely into hay but again atleast stratagy was needed for these. But the biggest gain from fossil and promos rain dance and psy. Raindance is very dangerous now with the like of articuno and lapras running around as basics, and finaly it can kill mr. Mime with lapras these two are very deadly. Psy took a big jump as it went from stalling to an attacker, mewtwo promo and gengar stole the show with their ability to attack and move damage around. Gengar worked good with mr. Mime to get more energy on the opposing active. A few new decks came in like decks with energy removals with golduck slowpoke and so on. Trainers werent much!
gambler is so so recycle is not bad. The last card from this recently came out was the mew promo this card was in decks right away to try and shut down rain dance and it also works well with aerodactyl. Another good thing about fossil was we got good psy pokemon and a lot of fighing resistent pokes which will not let fighting be played mono but we wont get rid of hitmo for a while.
Im gonna combine the 4 japanese expansions in one (rocket, gym 1, gym 2, and neo) when these came out i might add i didnt like them i didnt like to use them or play them. (Im talking about apprentice) but of course a lot of peeps used them. Rocket gave us some better cards of old pokes and some new evil guys but the biggest thing id say was their new trainers. Brand new trainers brought brand new stratagy although some might have been to good like graceful attack (ill get back to something to good later).. Gyms were the same pokes again but better ones, gym leaders had good pokemon and good trainers which brought more stratagy and skill in deck building. Ill not talk to much about certain ones until later. Neo recently came out in japan and brought pokemon from the gold and silver pokemon games. This was kinda like a new base set with the big three stage evolves with pokemon powers with new powers again brought new deck making and stratagy.again i wont go to much into detail o!
f the cards if you want you can download the patch at pojo to see for yourself. In neo a new stage came in called baby pokes, they have a built in shell that makes opponent flip before attacking (like fossil haunters power) and got little attacks that can be big especially erekiddo the baby of electabuzz ill say more of him later. I went to download the patch and as i said i only used english cards until i read some of the cards. I found a certain combo that i thought would be almost unbeatable turns out i was right as my deck is now 29-0 and counting. I don't know if wizards is gonna make errata out of pokemon (errata is banning certain combos) but i think they should. This deck is really good and probably just as easy to play as haymaker which is scary. Im not trying to make this deck popular but yet tell players how boring it is it requires no skill to play and id advise players if they play to play without this deck. Well i know what your saying that whats the deck and i w!
as debating whether to say it or not just incase an outburs!
t of this occurs but ill take my chances. Well here it is

Now for all our non apprentice users or those who don't know what the cads do ill tell you, the stratagy is to get all the erekiddos on the bench that you can and get a kadabra active,

erekiddo has the baby power i mentioned but he has a pokemon power that lets you flip at the end of your turn if heads the defending pokemon takes 20 yes 20 damage. Ok this is very good but theres more. Sabarinas kadabra for one psy energy lets you lose life down you flip a coin if heads put damage on the defending pokemon so it has 10 hp left (note i discussed this with spike the deck machanic and it seems that it doesnt do damage but just puts it on so weakness resistence and plus power have no effect) wow right now your probably imagining how good this is with erekiddo if you flip heads well that brings up my next card sabrinas ESP this card lets you attach it to it before you attack to one of sabrinas pokes if it has to flip a coin you may repeat the flip once more if you want. Ok yes this is very good you have kadabra active use esp then you got a 75 percent chance of doing the attack then you can flip for your erekiddos, yes it mostly means one hit kos you have 20 traine!
rs to get the cards you need switches for mewtwo and kangaskhan gust help to kill blastoise or something in one hit i also might add that all atacks take one energy but there 13 just cause i need them when i want them, all in all this deck is really to powerful im trying to think of a deck that could beat it but i don't know if theres any hopefully wizards or hasbro whatever it is now can place an errata on erekiddo and the kadabra. So in closing i wouldnt recommend this deck sure it is good but like hay and raindance it is a copy of someone elses deck be original make decks youve never heard of it will make the game of pokemon a way better game if people would just be original, you know what i mean if you play in tourney where you play 4 games and all four are haymaker it is really boring this way, pokemon is supposed to be a fun game so lets make it just that a game of fun stratagy and creativity. Id like to thank all the people who took the time to read this, the people who!
play original decks and to the deck machanics at pojo to f!
ix up those original decks to make them better and hopefully good enough to win tourneys, trust me people original toureny winning decks are out there I've used many and seen many just take the time to build one and play it and youll see that they are just as good as others with stratagy a true pokemon master goes his own route not copy someone else.

Thankyou
