Some time back, my little brother and
I came up with a useful idea that will arise when Neo 2 and 3 are released.
We were working on his Brock's Ninetails deck, and he
wanted it to Transform into something that utilized the Darkness energy
card. This combo was the number one pick because Brock's Protection prevents
one of the same problems when using Sneasel: Energy Removals.
The Darkness evolutions in Neo 2 are Umbreon, Houndoom, and Tyranitar.  Both Houndoom and Tyranitar are bruisers if Edo's translations are correct, but Tyranitar doesn't really
abuse Darkness energy. The one I was really interested in was Neo
3 Houndoom, whose spoiler was in the Pojo mag from March 2001. It reads:

Type:  Darkness
Evolution: Stage 1- from Houndour
Lv.35 HP 70
Retreat Cost: 1
Weakness: None
Resistance: Psychic (-30)
Attacks:
(R) Dark Flame (20): Discard one of your Fire energy cards.
Then take one of your Darkness Energy cards from the discard pile and attach
it to Houndoom.
(If you cannot discard, this attack fails)
(CCD) Black Fang (30): Flip a number of coins equal to
the number of Darkness energy cards attached to Houndoom. Add 10
damage for each head.
If you go through the combo when using Brock's Ninetails
( play Brock's Protection on Ninetails, use Transform, play darkness energy)
you could make a real killer if you put on 4 Unremovable Darkness and 4
Unremovable Rainbow + the obvious Gold Berry.  Since rainbow
provide darkness (but not the +10 benefit) you could max out on both for
tons of flipping fun!
Black Fang's base damage= 30
Add in darkness benefits  = 70
Possible 8 heads on flips = 150 total possible damage
This combo would take a while and would be very energy
intensive, but who can resist a Pokemon with unremovable darkness energy
and an attack w/ a destructive result?!? How nude is that, fellow
Pojoites!
P.S. check out Edo's Translations at the English/Japanese
spoilers listing.
Later,
Steve
