Of course, a lot of people use Archetypes. However, most of them don't know
how to use them, and most don't know what goes in what deck. Here, I'll
explain one of the most popular Archetypes today:

*.¸¸.·´¨`» [ Stall/Wall ] «´¨`·.¸¸.*
The deck Title should be self-explanatory. Stalls are usually made up of the
Alakazam/Chansey combo. I'm sure eveyrone has seen one of these. The art of
decking your opponent out. Trainers are very useful in this certain deck.
There are lots of cards that are great and should fit in here: Imposter Oak,
Imposter Oak's Revenge, Computer Error (You don't draw, but your opponent
does, if he wants), etc. Here's a list of Pokemon Cards used in a Stall:

Alakazam: Damage Swap all to Chansey

Chansey: The big egg that can take up to 110 damage.

Mr. Mime: Used against those pesky Charizards.

Haunter [Fossil]: Not normally used, but its great as I think of it.

Next up, Stall's little brother, the Elusive Wall decks! Not totally like the
Stall (although the main idea is to Stall your opponent out), but its still
great. I used to play one, lasted about 3 months until TR came out (Dark
Vileplume purposes, plus, I was working on a Haymaker varaint =P). The star
Pokemon:

Chansey: 120 damage of egg, with scrunch.

Zapdos: 90 HP, packed with the most HP of all Legendary birds. No weakness,
and resistance to fighting.

Snorlax: Anormalities are obsolete when this guy is stalling in the front
line.

Onix: Not THAT great, but you have to give credit to Harden!

Trainers include a whole load of Healing tools such as Pokemon Center, Scoop
Up (for retreating, and heal), and Item Finders to get them ALL back! Though
not many people play Walls around my town (They all play Stalls =[ ) However,
some inexperienced Wall players are putting in wrong cards! Potion is NOT a
great card, its pretty useful, though it takes up card space. Also, to the
Pokemon, I, along with many other people do NOT like Lickitung that much. I
must admit he's great, but he doesn't fit in a Wall, even if he can paralyze,
i'd still prefer Harden, for the small, weak basics.

Well that pretty much concludes my journey of Building Archetypes. These were
my first columns here at the Pojo, so if you'd like to laugh at me or
anything, the e-mail address is right down below =).
