Dear all Rain Dance players,
I think many of you are being very foolish(well not necessarily, but you are overlooking something major).  I personally do not play rain dance because I don't feel like spending $100 for them Blastoise.  However I have heard about it.  Everybody uses Lapras because none of the other raindance pokemon can(Now don't get me wrong.  I love Lapras cuz he's an awesoe basic).  That is a load of Bull%*#@!  Gyarados can!  You're probably sitting there on you're big butt thinkin' ,"Man what a retard,Gyarados doesn't have any attacks under 30 damage so he can't touch Mime."  All I'm going to say is your wrong.  Look at both the cards closely if you have them(otherwise go into the Pojo's spoilers).  There, did you get it?  Nah, probably not.  Your probably to stupid.  Look at Gyarados' Bubblebeam.  40 damage, can't touch mime right.  Now take the effort to read the text under it.  Big deal Paralyzation with a lucky coin flip.  Now look at Mime's power.  It says that any attacks that do 30 or more damage don't do anything to Mr. Mime but all other effects STILL happen.  Now have you caught it.  If Gyarados uses Bubblebeam and gets heads Mr. Mime's power shuts off.  Sure he isn't KO'd but the next turn he is.
Now you're probably saying,"Gyarados is ok but his basic sucks."  I couldn't agree more if you were my best friend.  And you might also say ,"he has a weakness to grass which is the color of almost all jungle and Rocket has it's share fare.  He's Scyther bait."  O.K.  A weak basic and weakness to grass he does have,  but what about Dewgong.  His basic isn't that bad(Decent HP) and he isn't weak to grass.  He has ice beam.
You can still go and use Lapras as I'm sure many of you pinheads will, but you should look at Gyarados and Dewgong again as they were unjustly forgotten when jungle came out.
