Hello.  When I was recently writing an article, that you'll hopefully
read later, I
was thinking of the best possible way to write an article.  I considered
multiple article
"formats" that have recently been popular in the writing of pokemon articles.
 Below, I'll
review a few with my personal opinion on each.  You can choose to agree
or disagree
with me, that's your choice.  I think I'll loosen up, too, I feel so...
 so...  professional(?).
Oh well, here we go.

1)  The Point System- I personally think that this style, to be blunt,
sucks.  Every aspect
of a card is situational.  Not to mention that the point systen doesn't
include types of
pokemon.  It's like comparing, parsay, Charizard and Blastoise.  Sure,
Charizard can do
100 damage, but he also has to discard 2 Fire energy to use the attack.
 Blastoise, on the
other hand, can do 40-60 damage, which might not be as good as 100, but
you don't have
to discard energy and you can do that on turn 2 with the luck of a breeder
and  and bunch
of water energy in your hand.  Also, Charizard may have a resistance
to fighting, but not
many people use fighting with the exception of Chan in haymakers.  Charizard
has a
weakness to water, which is very common due to raindance.  Blastoise
has a weakness to
Lighting, but besides Buzz, electric isn't used much.  Geez, I went into
an unecessary card
comparison, it proves how the point system doesn't work, though.

2)  Including Talking Pokemon- The best example of this is someone
**coughkingcobra**  who uses an Arbok.  I personally enjoy this guys
articles due to the
excessive sarcasm and amusement.  So, nice job, man.  I know several
other people do
this, too, in fact, it's recently become very popular.  I see nothing
in it that would help
stress the point of an article, but hey!  Whatever floats your boat.
Heck, if ya want me to,
I'll slap down a Jigglypuff or Scyther and make then yell their names,
but it just isn't my
style.

3)  Being Blunt- Just speaking your topic.  In irony, that's all.

4)  Uniquness- This is my personal favorite.  An example is Crash Landon,
a Deck
Mechanic and writer for pojo.  He has his little office setting with
his secretary, and the
recently added Vileplume.  Another example of this is Satoshi and his
Twisted Challenge
style.  I enjoy this, I've never entered one, but I like to read Satoshi's
articles and point of
view.

Thank you for reading my article.  You may find it interesting,
amusing, or simply
not.  Whatever you think, stay tuned for 5 things every TCG trainer should
have.  L8ta
