In the world of the Pokemon TCG there are four simple categories for cards: "God cards", "Useful cards", "Useless cards", and "Base Porygon cards". I, as an avid player of the Pokemon TCG believe I know where certain cards go. Thus, my list of the best and worst cards came about! So, without further delay, the top 10 Pokemon cards!

10.) Full heal energy: This card is now getting a lot of play in must decks. It is great because not only does it supply one colorless energy, but it heals your Pokemon of ailments. Greatly useful in most decks...colorless energy is always useful and now you do not have to worry about pesky Electabuzz paralysis or Lickitung paralysis and/or confusion. A nice card, worthy of this list.

9.) Nightly Garbage Run: Great Googly Moogly! This card is so great, and is already seeing many a day of play in many Pokemon decks. Play a card, get three useful cards from your discard pile. A nice way to prevent decking one's self...useful in Turbo Wiggly and Raindance decks. Amazing.

8.) Dark Golduck: An amazing card that makes Psyduck playable. It has a 50 damage psychic attack for two psy. energy and a colorless, PLUS it can fetch you three cards from the deck for the cost of one energy. Hot diggity, water/psychic deck here I come!

7.) Lickitung: A nice basic staller that can do damage without killing itself. Possible paralysis and 10 damage for one enrgy, possible confusion for two. Would've been higher on the list, except for the three colorless retreat cost. Don't expect this Pokemon to go anywhere without some trainer assistance...or the aid of the horrid, horrid Dodrio. Ack.

6.) Computer Search: Rifle through your deck at the cost of two cards to find a card of your choice. Excellent card, should go into most (if not all) decks. The second best rare trainer out there. Play this card.

5.) Hitmonchan/ Electabuzz: These two are tied for supremacy of the Basic Pokemon. It really doesn't matter though, because their stats are near equal. When they aren't working together in Haymaker, they are specialists in their field...no fighting deck is complete without Hitmonchan, and no electric deck is complete without Electabuzz. I would say 'Buzz is better because of the lower attack cost of it's second move, but it's weakness to fighting cancels that out. Solid cards...very, very solid cards.

4.) Bill: Grab two cards. Grab two cards. Into any deck with you Bill, so you may work your incredible card drawing power. Grab two cards, grab two cards.....

3.) Ditto: Ditto is, in my opinion, the Poke-Antichrist. People should fear it, use it, and learn to love it. Ditto's versatility make it incredible, because it can go into and work well with any deck. Who cares if Muk shuts it down...Ditto is never, nor should he ever, be the center of a deck. He just pops in to help other Pokemon with beatdown. Anything you can do it can do better. Talented, amazing, groin grabbingly good. 10/10. Use this card.

2.) Super Energy Removal/ Energy Removal: Kill your opponents energy. Stop them cold. Negate any attack. Energy removal is a common, which means most people have thirty of them. At least two of these should be used in any deck, that is to say, two of both Energy Removal and Super Energy Removal. These cards win many a game...what are you waiting for, if you aren't already using them, do so now.

1.) Professor Oak: If any Pokemon card was to be banned from play, it would be this one. Professor Broke is the greatest card in the game, hands down. Discard your hand to draw a new one? This is the only "god" card in the game, for now. Oak is in a league of his own, and absolutely needs to be in every deck. On a scale of 1-10, Oak drives his Sports car away kaughing with beautiful women at his side. Absolutely incredible, and second only to one card...

Pi: Pi is the baby form of Clefairy, and will be introduced to Americans when the Neo set comes out. This card is amazing, and would have made the top ten, as number one, if I thought it would be fair. For those who do not know it's stats, here they are:

Pi: Baby Pokemon                      HP: 30

Baby Power: Whenever an opponents Pokemon deals damage to this Pokemon, he or she must flip a coin. If tails, that attack does no damage. This power does not work when this Pokemon is asleep, confused, or paralysed.

Pipipi: Cost: One colorless energy: Shuffle your current hand into your deck. Draw seven cards.

Bottom line, this guy is Oak with hit points. When Neo comes out, this card will be everywhere. It is my top card for Pokemon, and shall be a favorite of everyone. I cannot wait for Neo to come out.

Well, that is all for me. Farewell, and may this information be useful to you!
