Ok, I'm gonna hafta hurt the next kid that says "A Charizard is soooooo good". These kids worship the ground this card is on! He stinks! He is worse then a freakin vileplume! I've seen soooo many decks with this card! It's redundant! What's the point of having a freakin Pokemon power when you can't use it the next round! The only thing a vileplume is good for is starting a nice winter fire on a cold day! Then you come up with the Nidoran (F) family! The only good thing good about that family is that the basic has 60 Hp instead of a crappy 40. Wizards is one of the most idiotic card companys ever! There starter decks now are horrible! Now, when they came out with a Blackout and Overgrowth deck, they were thinkin! Now they load the decks with horrible card ratios, rares that are as weak as a bottle of cheap wine, and they make the prices outrageous! My friend got a Power Reserve deck for Christmas and I was thinking "Great he can get some good cards to start him and then he can trade away some of the cards to get him better ones". Well I start to look at the manual. It's HORRIBLE!!!!! They only have one Jynx in there! Whats the point of having the card. You have a great chance of drawing it when you need it! Then they throw in some really bad evolutions along with it thinking is going to make it better. If Wizards really cared about the customer they would do what they did in the first series, give the person that was well constructed deck for a beginner and give them 2 REAL rares, not these crappy ones. The decks don't even fit the themes now too! Uggghhh, one crappy mistake after another. I suggest just saving your money and buying an old deck, buying boosters pack and rely on luck, or buy some cards from some nice friends (or just bum them :P). Also, these parents are WAY to overprotected. I went the league last week, packed with parents, watching over every single trade with there child. Their child is 10 or 11, able to make there own decisions, besides these kids know alot more about those card then the parents do anyways! If the kid needs a muk, let him trade the freakin Zapdos, if he really needs he for his set he would do it! Pokemon is really blown out of proportion by the media too. You see this child on TV "Yea, I had my weedle stolen and now I want to sue Bobby for all he has the Pokemon stealin punk!". If the parent know it was gonna be a problem, then why did you buy it in the first place! I hate the schools that think the card game is considered "gambling". Lemme ask the prinicipal this, when you were a kid, did you every buy a pack of baseball cards? I guess you were gambling too, considering you had odds on getting a premium card, like a Mickey Mantel. Yes, lets pack the card packs full of Venusaurs and Blastiose. The reasons the cards are hard to find is because IT'S A FREAKIN TRADING CARD GAME!!!! Whats the point of buying the cards if you can get all the rare cards in a booster pack! Then you would see all these Haymakers and Rain Dance Decks (like theres not enough already!) sprouting up cause you can buy booster pack and get all the cards you need!!!
