I have a deck strategy, i call it the Poor Mans Haymaker, here goes:

2 Fossil Magmar  (Great Card, Any objections?)
3 Charmander      (Attack on first turn, 30 damage for 2 energies)
2 Charmeleon       (Great HP for a stage1, 50 damage for 3 energies)

2 Hitmonlee           (Ability To Deal Bench Damage, 50 damage for 3
energies)
3 Geodude            (OK attack, mostly for Evolution)
2 Graveler             ( 40 damage for 3 energies, as well as harden)

Trainers  19

3 Energy Search   (Adds 3 more energy)
3 Bill                        (Card Drawing)
2 Energy Retrieval(Adds 4 more energy, giving me 32 total energy)
2 Recycle               (Getting back Energy Retrievals)
2 Switch                 (Staple in any deck)
2 Gust Of Wind      (Staple)
2 Potion                  (Healing Ditto For the retreat)
1 Super Potion      (Same as above)
1 Mr. Fuji                (Taking ditto back to your deck)
1 Prof. Oak            (Staple)
