Today I'll be reviewing the Advantages and Disadvantages of the Psychic Color, and basically going through the whole color.
If you want to build a Psychic deck, you might want to go through this article first too.

Psychic:

Card Rarity | Usefulness

Rares: AWESOME, and pretty cheap too.
Uncommons: Can be good, but also can be replaced.
Commons: *shudders* This is where basic gastly fits in.....*shudders*

Showing that little bit above ^ just shows how much making a deck of this color costs......so if you wanted to construct a psychic deck, it wouldn't cost THAT much to make it, whereas, GRASS, tends to use a LOT of rares, so you would pay more.......but if you look up, you can tell how easy or hard it is to construct depending on where the strength of the cards is, uncommon or rare.

Different Deck Types:

Standard Deck types of the Psychic Color are viewed here:

NRG-Less Stall
Bench Disruption ( Gengar )
Invincible Chansey ( I think this deck is overlooked )
Clump of Psychic Pokemon with Meditating ( Mewtwo, Mew, Jynx, Mime )

ALL great decks, and aren't hard to make except for Invincible Chansey, and Gengar Disruption.  The Clump of Psychic Pokemon is surprisingly good with Mewtwo as the Backbone, because we all know that mewtwo can take anything.
ALSO, NO I don't mean the BASE Mewtwo, I mean the Promo Mewtwo.

The BEST cards of the Psychic Color are shown below:

Promo Mewtwo
Alakazam
Mr. Mime
Mew
Jynx

Promo Mewtwo is one of the single most powerful cards in the TCG, and can take on a deck by himself.  Jynx is also great, and Mr. Mime is the stopper of large and powerful decks.  Mew is GREAT for Late Game, with the Devo- Beam, lots of people are using breeder to get to a stage two.....but then again....heres a little trick I saw....somewhere. LOL.  deal damage onto the poké, then devo beam it for an instant kill, somewhat like what you can do to trick dittos.
Alakazam is obvious, and has anyone ever played an Invincible Chansey deck lately!?!  I have...It's Awesome...if you have the rares to put it together.....the way you work it is....Have 'kazam on bench and Chansey as active.....fill your bench...
then depending on how much their bench warmers can hit you for, apply defenders to your chansey, and next turn, swap the damage, item finder or recycle the defenders, apply as needed, and double edge again.  Its Great, and virtually unbeatable, since I killed his chansey ONCE, but he brought out another..... =*(
Anyway....Gosh, I had some other things I wanted to say....

Ahh....Trainers and Colorless Pokemon that Complement psychic!

The Following Trainers should go in many Psychic Decks:

Plus Power/Pokemon Center
Prof Oak
Bill
Switch
E Removal
You get the point.  The standards.

Here's the Fun part
Colorless Pokemon!

Ditto for some reason goes well with psychic?  Someone email me and tell me why.....I don't know...LOL
Now heres something no one knows about......Tauros goes with alakazam!
You know...the Rampage thing........Never mind...lol

Psychic Decks are good, and can stomp other colors, not too hard to construct either.....if you know how...
well...
the Hard thing about decks is pretty much pokemon....
Look....heres a standard Gengar Deck

4 Gastly        4 Drowzee    3 Promo Mewtwo
3 Haunter      3 Hypno       2 Mr. Mime
2 Gengar

3 Bill
3 Oak
3 Gust Of Wind
2 Computer Search
3 Plus Power

assorted energy......whatever.....I just made up this deck right now.
I suppose it wouldn't do too bad either.......but ya know....needs tuning......
so Psychic Decks don't have much variety, but I gotta wrap up,
its 10:00.  Oh and one note, my fave Psy Decks are Invincible Chansey and Clump o' Psy Pokemon.
