::An explosion, followed by purple smoke::

First, allow me to introduce myself.

To defend the Earth from Pokebrats
To capture their yellow rats
To denounce the jerks who wreck the game
I know this poem is really lame
Team Rocket's James, typing at the speed of light
Grab your cards and prepare to fight!

By now, I suppose everyone's realized the potential of the Team Rocket
expansion to destroy trainer-based decks.  Play those 32-trainer haymakers
while you still can, coz Team Rocket's coming to get you! Muhuhahaha ha ha
haaa!

Ok.  That was fun.  The Team Rocket expansion will also have another big
impact: decks based on Ninja effects are now feasable.  By Ninja effects, I
mean status change attacks, mainly Confusion and Poison.  Great Ninjas like
Koffing and Venomoth have the ability to poison their opponents and keep
them from attacking/retreating by confusing them.  Before, you had a 50%
chance of getting away.  However, with retreat costs of zero or one, you'd
rather retreat than try to attack and risk the 20 damage on tails.

The Rocket expansion's Muk is a great aid to this sort of strategy. It
increases the other pokemon's retreat cost, making the trainer more
reluctant and less likely to pay the now higher retreat cost.

I've been playing around with this idea, assuming higher retreat costs and
the power of status effects for quite some time now.  Given time,
experimentation, and practice, it is quite possible that this deck (Which is
called a Ninja deck, remember that when it's as common as a Haymaker is now)
will be one of the most powerful out there.

Now, to make an effective exit...
Wheezing, Explosion!
::When the smoke clears, James is nowhere to be seen..::
