Hey fellow Pojofans! This is Erik and i'm going to look at the Neo two bugs.
By bugs I mean Weedle, Kakuna, Caterpie, etc.
First let's take a peek at Caterpie.    My ratings are from 1-10. 10 being
the best

Caterpie
Lv.16 HP50
C: CoroCoro Tackle    20
Does 10 damage to itself.
Weak- Fire
Resist- None
Retreat- C
Common

A weak basic needs something to keep it alive and this one does the opposite.
Someone might say this card is good not remembering it does 10 damage to
itself. I'd rather use the  base set Caterpie. My rating is a 3.5

Metapod
LV. 23     HP70
CC: Harden
During your opponents next turn whenever 20 or less damage is done to Metapod
(After applying weak and resist) prevent that damage (all other effects of
attacks still happen.
GG: Shell-Breaking Evolution
Flip a coin. If heads remove all damage counters from Metapod and search your
deck for a pokemon that evolves from Metapod at put it on Metapod.  Treat the
new Pokemon as though it has just evolved.  Shuffle your deck afterwards.
Weak- Fire
Resist- none
Retreat- CC
Uncommon

Wow! Simply beautiful! It's a bit flip dependent but that's ok. You can now
have a butterfree on turn two and attacking on turn 3! My rating is a 7.5.

Butterfree
Lv. 38  HP 80
GC: Miracle Phosphor Powder  20
Flip a coin. If heads the defending Pokemon is either asleep, confused,
poisoned, or paralyzed. (Your choice)
GGC: Hyper Reverse
This attack does 10 damage times the number of energy attached to the
defending Pokemon. For each 10 damage dealt this way, remove a damage counter
from Butterfree
Weak- Fire
Resist- Fighting
Retreat- Free
rare Holofoil

I always thought butterfree stunk. But now this one is almost totally broken!
20 damage plus your choice of the status effect is very very awesome but
Hyper Reverse will kill decks with lots of energy. TAKE THAT RAINDANCE! TAKE
THAT EXEGGCUTOR! My rating is a 9.5

Weedle
lv. 14  HP 40
G Stinging Peck
The defending Pokemon is now poisoned. Flip a coin. If tails, this attack
does nothing.
Weak- Fire
Resist- None
Retreat- C
Common

This card is scary! Only for players who are excellent on flipping heads. I
would use the base set Weedle. My rating is a 3.5

Kakuna
LV. 22 HP70
GG Send out Poison
During your opponents next turn., If kakuna is damaged  by the defending
Pokemon(Even if Kakuna is knocked out) the attacking Pokemon is now poisoned
and this power does 10 damage to each pokemon on your opponent's bench.
(Don't apply weakness and resistance for benched pokemon)
Weak- Fire
Resist- none
Retreat- CC
Uncommon

This card is a double edged sword. It makes your opponent think twice about
attacking. And no strings attached! Meaning no flips! Great. My rating is an
8.0

Beedrill
lv. 36  HP80
G- Triple Poison 10
Flip a coin if heads the defending Pokemon is now poisoned. It now takes 30
damage instead of 20 or 10 after each players turn (even if it was already
poisoned.
GGC Pin Missle   20X
Flip 4 coins, this attack does 20 damage times the number of heads.
Weak- Fire
Resist- Fighting
Retreat- Free
Rare Holofoil

Wow beedrill is awesome! With pin Missle on average it will be a 40 damage
attack which is awesome and Triple Poison is like Nidokings Toxic only better.
My rating is a 9. It would be either a 9.5 our a 10 if it wasn't so flip
dependent

So there you see it! Pokemon TCG gained a little from the basic stages and
tons from the evolutions!
