I did an analysis on how Neo reforms the base set.
Neo Caterpie has 10 more hp than the Base set
Caterpie and although the attack of the Neo Caterpie does damage to itself, it
is still better than the Base set caterpie that does 10 damage and 50%
paralysis.
Neo Metapod. 70 hp. Harden is not quite a
good attack but can be used in some situations. but the second attack, is Great
although it is coin dependant. One heads, it is like Maxpotion+ Butterfree.
Neo Butterfree.Flip a heads, opponent may be
either asleep, confused,
poisoned, or paralyzed. You choose!
The next attack, A combination of psychic and
Leech seed. Does damage as it heals. Better than Mega drain of Base set
butterfree.
Based on this, the neo2 set is much much more
Better than the base set.
